There is a free curry service for dinner from Monday to Thursday. Lucky to hear this story on Monday's stay. The staff was polite in the dining room, and curry was also more satisfying than I imagined. The hot spring was also pleasant. The parking lot is in front of the hotel and there is a large parking lot behind it, so you can rest assured.

2023/6/5 Stay 1 week trip to Hokkaido. Stayed at Guest House Moshiripa in Wakkanai. First time using a guest house. The room and toilet are clean. I didn't use the shower room this time, but I think it's probably as well cleaned as the toilet. You can also use the shared space freely. You can drink free coffee in the morning and stay comfortably. I was able to spend a good day, feeling that they were considerate of each other so as not to disturb other guests. The futon was also hygienic. Many people traveling by motorcycle stayed, but there is a parking space for people with cars, so it is safe. Recommended accommodation.

Looking at the old, but in the relatively remote town of Wakkanai, it is quite good, the basic facilities are complete, and the style bathrobe. It is not far from the Wakkanai Station, and it is about 700 meters walk. The nearby convenience store may have to go to Senkomato in Wakkanai Station. After all, things are still there. Overall, there is no one at the front desk. I can only go to the service staff for help. I recommend using Japanese.

Homestay category General hygiene, short hair and small spoils on the bed, expectations are not high No meals, a little inconvenient But... the host’s service is very enthusiastic. He drove us to the supermarket to buy dinner and arranged a car to the dock in the morning. It would be great if hygiene can be improved Thanks again to the owner for his warm service arrangement

The hotel is 4.5 kilometers away from the airport. There is a free pick-up service. It is best to call in advance. Otherwise, there is no way to call in Japan. There is no way for people who have free service to the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located on the port of Lishui Island, and it is convenient to go to Rebun Island and Wakkanai. The food is OK, the sashimi is very fresh, but it is a little sad if you are not used to the Japanese. Service facilities are very good, very comfortable, overall it is still very recommended.

The room size is decent with separate bed. This makes it great for couples and mini group of friends. The breakfast and dinner provided are slightly above average but overall, filling and comfy. The reception is extremely great, providing trips to your travelling plans, from ferrying to the terminal and even base of Mount Rishiri for hiking in my experience. Overall, would like to come here again should the chance provides itself to revisit Rishiri Island. PS: They have onsen(500 yen, less than 10minutes walk) and free bicycle for small travelling distance too!

There is no elevator, you have to be mentally prepared to carry your luggage on the first floor, and the waiter is very good to help with your luggage when you check in. There was no mention of no elevator when booking, and there was a little budget loss.

SSextantisThis was a last minute booking as I cancelled the booking for another hotel by mistake and did not realise until I was at the other hotel itself. Dormy Inn is very convenient, less than 8 minutes to JR Wakkanai. The rooms are quite small and sparsely furnished but still comfortable for our family. Enough power plugs all over the room but no UDB charging points so remember to bring your travel adapters. What the room lacks in amenities, the facilities more than make up for it. There is FREE ramen every night from 9.30pm at the hotel restaurant, so we simply bought a some food from the seica mart at JR wakkanai and eat before the restaurant opens at night. On top of this, there is of course the roof top onsen. We like in particular the outdoor part of the onsen where you can enjoy the snow falling onto you while you soak in the pool. After the onsen bath you can help yourself to the free ice cream outside the men's and ladies' onsen. There is also a small manga library between these 2 onsens too. We loved our stay here and will be glad to stay here again if we go to wakkanai again.

GGuest UserSpent two days at the Surfeel Hotel, Wakkanai in early February 23. It is a short walk from Wakkanai rail station and well placed to reach most of the town easily on foot. Well I say easily, the snow was incredibly high in the streets and sidewalks so obviously the right clothing and footwear is essential! We had a lovely room overlooking the sea with a big picture window. We could spend hours watching the changing conditions which moved through heavy snow to sunshine back to snow in minutes throughout most of our stay. The old infrastructure from submarine pens has now gone but the covered archway stretches out to form one side of the harbour just beyond the hotel. We ate out in town both nights we were in Wakkanai - not a reflection on the hotel offering but just part of our normal routine to explore and experience other things. We did try and get a drink one night in the rooftop bar but found it closed for the season. We managed to get a couple of beers in the restaurant on the ground floor but they kicked us out at 9pm as they were closing! That said staff throughout the hotel were charming and helpful as ever. Breakfast was pretty good. The offering was dominated by Japanese specialities as you would more than expect with limited western alternatives but the croissant, coffee and eggs were all good. We tried a variety of Japanese dishes and they were pretty good as well. The temperature in the restaurant was about 30C and just felt unhealthy. We were the only people in there but the Japanese obsession with anti-COVID measures is very tiresome and masks were required as were gloves whilst getting your food on a tray from the buffet. At least we didn’t have a pathetic little plastic screen placed between us like we did at our hotel in Sapporo! We knew the Japanese would be masked up - they often were even before COVID - but come on, time and life have moved on! All-in-all a very good hotel and option for stay in Wakkanai especially with a sea-view room on a higher floor. Well done Surfeel Hotel and thank you.

すんA hotel in front of Wakkanai Station. There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the surrounding area, and the breakwater dome and Wakkanai Park are within easy walking distance, so the location is very good. I live in a shared room with bunk beds. The shower is free, and you can drink tea, coffee and miso soup for free. You can also eat and drink in public spaces. This is a stylish space with a clean and calm feeling. I think the price of bunk beds in shared rooms is a bit high, but I was very relaxed during my stay.

I stayed here on a 6-night, 7-day tour with Trapics. The tour guide had told me in advance that this hotel is located in a residential area of a fishing village, so there are no shops nearby. The nearest Seico Mart is about 5km away. You have to buy drinks to eat and drink in the room in advance. The rooms are hit or miss, and if you stay in an outward-facing room on an upper floor, you can see Wakkanai Port, Cape Nosappu, or the ocean of the Soya Misaki River. If you stay on a lower floor, you can only see the surrounding fishing village, and in the worst case scenario, you'll be facing a room with a different view. The view isn't particularly good, so I don't think you need to worry too much about it. The room isn't particularly spacious, and the bathroom is a unit bath, but we didn't use the room bath because there is a hot spring. However, the space to put your toiletries is small for two people. It was late May, but the heating was strong and it was difficult to adjust the temperature. The windows are double-glazed, but when you open them, the strong wind makes a lot of noise. There is a fireplace in the lobby on the first floor, and the atmosphere was good because there was a fire. The food was better than I expected. I like how they use a lot of locally produced ingredients. There is an option for meals, and at this time of year we were able to have sea urchin. One plate, which was quite a lot, cost 1,000 yen. It's better to splurge on two plates for two people. It was fresh and very delicious. The bath is called Koeman Onsen, but the hot spring is one of two baths. This area has a slightly pungent smell because of the oil that comes from it. The Toyotomi Onsen, which contains the same ingredients, is said to be effective against atopic dermatitis. There is also an open-air bath, which is built like a snow hut and was quite nice. This hotel seems to be often used by tour groups, so I think it will be crowded if the bathing times overlap. If you have time in the morning, try taking a walk around the Koeman Peninsula. It will take about an hour to walk all the way there at a leisurely pace, but the scenery of the fishing village was interesting to see.

MMIYACHIThe interior is very new, as it seems to have undergone major renovations in recent years. Very clean and comfortable. There are many sockets and there is a USB charging terminal at the head of the bed for convenience. Although it is a single booking, it has been upgraded to two single beds for the convenience of room allocation. Because this is a busy season, an extra bed was added and turned into three single beds. This is a breakfast plan only, the buffet has a lot of delicious local mother’s homemade breakfast, the queue is good, but the taste is delicious, but the dishes are flaky plastic, tongs are not easy to use, cheap vegetables, raw vegetables and sashimi I don’t know why almost All fried foods are kept at room temperature. Only a small part is warm, but cold things are cold and warm things are warm. I think hand-made handwork can be used more and more.

GGuest UserIt feels like an old-fashioned inn, but the rooms, toilets, and baths seem to have been renovated and are clean and easy to use. Especially, the bath is 24 hours a day and the bathtub is large. However, since you can enter by locking one by one, you have to see the timing. Supper was a simple course, but it's enough. Ordinary women may not be able to eat it. Even if you have crab or octopus shabu-shabu on this, you may not be able to eat it unless you are a young athletic club. The rice is also delicious. Cold sake is Otokoyama limited to Wakkanai. This can be drunk like water. The room does not have air conditioning, but the temperature drops at night so you can sleep enough. The parking lot has no roof, so the bike may be tight on a rainy day
