Don’t let the exterior facade put you off. Inside is modern, close to Mal Maison in style. Our family room was spacious, clean and comfy. The staff were really helpful and we received a warm welcome. It is a 5 min walk to the station which takes you 2 stops to Zurich HB in centre. First class fabulous. Highly recommended.

Property in itself is good. The staff especially the staff in the restaurant was rude, looks down on those who only speak English. Overall experience for the proce paid is rather unbecoming. Restaurant and hotel exists to serve guests regardless of ethnicity or colour. Reception and restaurant staff would benefit from understanding to treat people with dignity regardless of their colour. It was just so obvious.

We liked the location close to two train stations. Staff not friendly or helpful and it would be nice have a means to make a coffee or tea in the room - had these fancy robes but would rather have had a way to make a warm drink.

We really enjoyed our stay, staff were really helpful and our bed and room were so comfortable. Only small point is we would have liked to be told in advance that the restaurant was under renovation but other than that very happy and only a short distance from Zurich

I wouldn’t rate this property high et all. First of all the check in experience was pretty frustrating. We reached 30 mins before and the reception said it will take a bit. She mentioned after 20 mins that we can check in but then went on to phone for next 30 mins. We had to really go atleast 2-3 times that we are there with kids. Hotel have a very difficult process of coming after 09:00 pm. I had to leave a train and lots of hassle. At the end no one was on reception to check us out. Since I already paid I had to leave the key and left a note. Overall very unpleasant experience during our overall trip. The place is going through a renovation so felt like more hotel and workers then guests.
