The hotel is quite comfortable and clean. The merchant upgraded the room for free and also gave us travel photos. I stayed in the hotel on the first day and started a great trip. In September 2024, Typhoon ”Capricorn” was in full swing. Workers traveled with their families. Although the typhoon had just passed, Haikou Airport had already stopped operating, and the high-speed rail was also suspended. The unwilling workers had no choice but to transfer to Sanya for two days, and finally arrived at the Westin Wanning. Working is not easy, and traveling is also difficult. The hotel service is very good. The housekeeper Fu Tingting helped me upgrade the room. Thank you very much, which made my miserable state much better. The quick response to the pre-employment contact and after check-in was very good. The children's supplies were prepared in advance. Tang Chunyu at the front desk checked in quickly, and the children were given small gifts when they checked in, and the children were very happy. The front desk service was enthusiastic. The breakfast was good, soup noodles, and we stayed for 3 nights, and every day was different. The hotel is beautifully situated with its own beach. The landscaping and grounds are picturesque as are the ocean views. I have previously stayed in big hotels in Sanya that involve long walks to the facilities and the beach. However, this hotel is really nicely sized. The lagoon pools and infinity pools were great, though I did wonder a bit about the cleanliness levels. I was initially concerned about reviews saying the place looked aged, but in person the rooms seemed fine, spacious and clean. The service was excellent on every level. They did not have a business center but they helped me out with some business needs. The breakfast was diverse and they made sure to keep the buffet filled up despite a large number of diners. All in all, it was a very refreshing and enjoyable stay. Note that taking a train from Sanya Airport to Wanning is not difficult and economical if the timing works well for your flights.

Amazing stay, definitely recommended. The hotel is clean and the balcony is sweet with lake view. I had a lil injury when i surfed so i hardly walked, The staff were amazing, from front desk Ben Huang, Megan Yan, The doorman Mark Ma, been helping on different requests, the staff from restaurant, the house ladies (i don't know their name) showed lot of cares and helps.

As first-time visitors to Wanning, we weren’t really sure which area would be the best for staying. However, we were pleasantly surprised by this location along the Shenzhou Peninsula. The surrounding area is quite nice, with a rocky shoreline not far away and a great beach area behind the hotel. Check-In went smoothly and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Shoutout to Paul Tang 唐亚超 for the excellent service. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a great balcony view of the garden and ocean. The buffet breakfast was great as well, with a variety of different cuisine options available. We especially enjoyed that they offered fresh fruit juice instead of the beverage type. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again the next time we are in Wanning!

This apartment is on the man made island - it is a little hard to find the reception especially if you don’t speak Chinese. The apartment itself is perfect with everything you need. It has a lovely big balcony and the aircon works very well. It is still slightly under construction- so not all the elevators work at the moment (quite a long wait most times) The island itself is not really where all the action happens - so best to rent a scooter as there is always heavy traffic to get on and off the island.

Nice little hostel in the village. Close to the local village restaurants and quick drive/scooter ride directly to Riyue Bay beach. Much more affordable place to stay compared to beach front. Hotel was good for what it is which is more resembling a youth hostel. Private rooms were small and facilities were reasonably clean. Showers were not great, water pressure was incredibly weak and after a day on the beach the showers were not good enough to wash off the day. Walls are thin so it’s easy to hear what goes on outside the doors. But generally the space was quiet. There were children on the first few nights and we could hear them at night running up the stairs. A bit expensive for what is offered to be honest. They don’t provide real towels to use, just disposable paper ones. This was a disappointment. At 460rmb a night one would expect towels at the very least. No room cleaning provided, but can request an ayi to come in to take out the trash. Great skate park at the front. Good for young people.
