3-Star Hotels in Wanning

We loved the space that this apartment offered along with fantastic views. We had rented a car and really needed it (or a scooter) for this location but with that transporting it was really great. The botanical gardens nearby were great as were other beaches we checked out. We went to Sanya for the day and realized that we made the right choice to stay where we did. Our kids did surf camp each day which worked out great for everyone.

The room is really average, but the bed is big, two 1.8-meter beds, quite comfortable, suitable for family travel. The price is there, don't expect services or facilities that don't match the price, there are many photos around the swimming pool. The reception is full of bad reviews, which is also a feature. In short, if you like it, you think it's okay, and if you ask for better services or facilities, there are definitely none. The atmosphere of the bar is okay, but the fried skewers on the last night made me feel uncomfortable the next day and vomited. It's not very good. The breakfast is okay, with more choices, but I'm tired of eating it for three days.

Location: Lovely location right by the ocean but a bit far from any fun spots. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Wanning 日月 beach where there's a lot more fun activities. Services: Great service. The front desk manager TT was lovely and could speak great English thus making communication go smoothly. Amenities: Good but could be better. I think some of the rooms were not used for a long time. The first room I got smelled a bit musty. Also, don't expect new facilities this place looks like it's been around for a long time and it shows. Still, it's charming in all it's rustic glory. I would say the only downside to my stay is that there was no shuttle to the train station. Which is kind of a letdown given that this is a high-end resort. ***If you're a person of colour, I recommend maybe try the two hotels not far from this place. Le Meridien and The Westin I think. I didn't spot any other foreigner during my two days at this hotel until I went to 日月 for a walk and ran into a few of them。It turns out most foreigners stay at the Westin or Le Meridien thus maybe it won't feel too isolating opting for these two hotels rather than this one. All in all, it's a nice hotel to stay if you're on a budget.👍🥂

The hotel is attached to the high-speed rail station and the location is very good. There are also shopping malls nearby, you can buy coffee, refresh and cool, McDonald's, and there are quite a lot of takeaways. Hotel service is very good, basically responsive, the experience is very good, the overall is recommended to stay.

Location: ONLY book if you are coming with your own car. Accommodation is not easily accessible by foot especially if you are arriving at night. All food places at least 5-10 min DRIVE. However, it is an interesting location as it is not close to the sea, so you get to experience another side of Hainan’s environment. Make sure you bring mosquito repellent. Service: Was just okay - not the most helpful unless you ask questions. For example, the SUPs have to be booked ahead so their trainer is scheduled to come - which was not mentioned. So if you are only staying for one day, make sure you tell them ahead. Cleanliness: Since it is a humid environment, mould will likely appear. The tent we were in had a lot of mould on many of the inner walls. There was an attempt at simply covering it but these tents should be cleaned and treated. Amenities: the tents definitely are definitely more fancy than normal tents - ours had a shower and AC. I was mostly disappointed by the lack of activities and food availability. I think if you are an accommodation that is difficult to access - at least food/drinks options should be provided.

It was my first time to travel to Wanning and I was afraid that I would have a bad experience in a bad hotel. But this hotel gave me a really good experience. The room was not damp at all and had no peculiar smell. The sheets were very clean and not dirty at all. Place, and this hotel is also a smart hotel with high cost performance. I really recommend this hotel for over 100 yuan. The lady at the front desk heard that I was from out of town and recommended local attractions and food to me. She was really enthusiastic. It’s also super good. I really have to give this hotel a five-star rating. If I have another chance to come to Wanning next time, this hotel will be my first choice. I really love it.

For me, the preferred hotel is close to the high-speed rail station, and the surrounding Huaya Plaza is convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. The second is the location: a high-end hotel, very close to Wanning High-speed Railway Station, and 200 meters from Huaya Plaza. Then the parking lot: the hotel has ground and underground parking lots, which is very convenient for us to park and travel. There are also services: when checking in, the front desk clerk opened the room with a full smile and introduced the hotel facilities and services and breakfast time. There is also his breakfast: the dishes are richer and taste good. Facilities and equipment: The decoration of the room is relatively new, not the flashy feeling, the Nordic light luxury style. It can be seen that it has been done with care.

The room is spacious and clean, with complete toiletries. Cleaning service is very good. But unlike what was stated in the order (see screenshot), the room had neither a wardrobe nor a wardrobe, not even a simple coat rack. Clothes can only be hung in the bathroom, and the shower area in the bathroom is open and unobstructed (see screenshot), and the shower floor is covered with water. How to hang clothes? In addition, the front desk staff has a bad attitude and poor service. There is obviously insufficient training. The so-called business hotel is not worthy of its name.

Come to Wanning, this city is also very recommended, suitable for self-driving, short rest, clean, large water, quite comfortable, convenient parking, very cost-effective.
