The room’s décor is uniquely distinctive while still preserving the charm of its original house design. The room is fully equipped with amenities and features an excellent bed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to explore many attractions within the city on foot. The hotel is a historic building with Chinese influences, beautifully restored with great taste and attention to detail. The effortless elegance is evident not only in the architecture but also in the furnishing, lighting concept and small garden. Lots of wood, air and light give the place a serene and friendly atmosphere. Exceptional as the house is also the staff. I don't think I have ever enjoyed a better, more attentive and kind service than here. Plus: The breakfast was pure comfort food. Also very important: the lovable hotel cat Stephan. See you next time!

It was another of my solo trips in Thailand. I didn’t expect much at first. Just wanted to hop on the renowned first class train to Ubon Ratchathani province in the northeast of the country. It turned out to be way better than I hoped for. The owner was kind enough to welcome and have me checked in early. I mean, extremely early in the morning at 7:30! The hotel itself was stunning and looked charming yet modern in its own way. You can feel that the buildings have literally passed the WWII era. They did a good job in preserving the antique buildings and making them a nice and comfortable place to stay and travel the time all together.

This is the best hotel in town! Unique ancient building that is completely modernized and comfortable. HUGE rooms, even the normal rooms are large and include a couch, MANY power outlets, great quality air, soft beds with high thread count sheets, two big and amazing pillows. We came for one day and stayed 3! We had coffee all over town over the three days and the coffee here is the best. The breakfast is delicious and high quality. They are SO caring here. The owner is young, smart and made our experience incredible. The staff is wonderful. You will thank me if you follow my recommendation and come here. A++++, Full Marks, Best owner, Best Room, Most comfortable beds, More power outlets than you could ever use. Enjoy!
