We rarely complain about, or criticise, in our reviews. Usually our motivation is to let other travellers know about the great accommodations, restaurants or experiences we are fortunate enough to discover in our travels. Unfortunately this experience was really disappointing - and it is NOT inexpensive. Firstly the apartment is about 300m away from the hotel, where you check in. Then, the paid parking is 500m in opposite direction - so once you check in at reception you have 800m to walk to your unit. No one is available or offers to help with luggage or information. Also, the receptionist charged more per night for the parking than we received from them in an email. Her reaction was just a shrug. Then when we finally got to the unit with our bags, there were 2 flights of dangerously narrow stairs to drag your luggage up. And I think there was another floor above that you could be on!! The unit was spacious but sparse and ill-equipped. The tv was small and limited in choice (we had some bad weather). No cable and no English channels. There was no wifi, and no phone to contact reception. There was no toaster, no paper towels, no bin liners - there is only the bare minimum. We stayed 3 nights and noticed our bins got emptied - that’s it. The unit is right in the middle of the main restaurants and well-located, but it is noisy. Warnemunde is a great place to visit with lots to do, gorgeous restaurants and picture-pretty streets and sights. There are also hundreds of gorgeous guesthouses and hotels. Don’t waste your money here.
