The communication was properly completed immediately after the booking, the confirmation with all details came quickly by email. Since I was in the hotel more often, check-in was also prompt because the data were already available. My room wish was also considered. The hotel points with its 1A-Lage on the promenade. The gastronomic facilities cover a large range, from cafe to broilerbar, the staff are friendly and service-oriented. In the restaurant ”Dünenfein” I wished a little more look for the details (e.g. if you want to order something more as guest) - it was perhaps something due to the stress of the staff, but it was a bad thing. After a delle in service quality immediately during and after Corona I had the impression that it is going up again despite all the difficulties (managed skills ...). There are a lot of young people who are trained - I wish them not to lose their elan in the exercise of the profession. The fitness center has very modern equipment, I like the pool. The bathroom in the room seemed to have been renovated - which has strengthened the overall positive impression. I don't feel the hotel has come ”in the years”, as some reviews suggest, but it's certainly subjective. I'm always happy there and enjoy the comforts of the hotel. It is not a pretty little bit - but I have never regretted my choice for my outtime in warning mouth.

We travelled for Easter 2022. We chose Aja Warnemünde because we had visited Aja Bad Sarow once and were satisfied. We paid a total of 1200 euros for 3 nights for 3 people with half-pension. Then the disappointment came on the first day of the trip. In the spa area we should share a bed to third, because there were not enough beds. Ground - many external visitors that were identified on the bracelets and so the beds were not enough for the hotel guests. The next disappointment came to the evening - the most beautiful tables with sea view in the restaurant were already “reserved” for the entire stay. Eating is OK, but nothing special. Tomates were of the cheapest - without taste. We wanted to go to bed tired when we realized that the bed linen was everywhere with holes. After our request next day, the bed linen was changed. But this is not possible - not for the price of EUR 1200. The hotel is located in the centre of the city centre and is located in the centre of the city centre. This should happen with us on Sunday - but it is not!! We only got toilet paper and towels according to my request, although the room should actually be sucked because the sand of the floor was already dirty. A lady then wanted to clean the room just Monday before check out - there was no coordination between reception and cleaning. If we weren't in the room, the lady would have cleaned the room twice.... before checkout and after. So overall disappointing. Concluded: The young lady at the pool bar was very nice. There were offers of osters for the children. The massage in the Niveahaus by the staff member Elizabeth was very pleasant.

We needed a night accommodation for 1 night. The hotel was perfect. It works all new and modern. Our room had a double bed and a double bed. The cleanliness was innocent. The mattresses were not yet passed through. The breakfast buffet was small, but for 7.50€ incl. drinks, unsatisfactory, cheap. S-track and tram are in the immediate vicinity. Point deduction is available for too few parking and little rooms at breakfast. There can be time to wait for shots. All in all a very good price-performance ratio and very recommend!

The hotel has a great location in the center and port. The service was GREAT. Very friendly staff, since we were 4 people (2 adults and 2 children), an extra bed was missing, which we did immediately after information. There was plenty of space in the room and everything was clean. The bathroom was large and a nice shower.
There was a kettle with tea, coffee to make yourself. In the lobby there is water, apples and sweets to take away. The roof terrace on the 10th floor or higher was open to everyone and has loungers for sunbathing and a GREAT view of the harbor and city. We were all very happy.

We visited Rostock for the first time my wife and I. We stayed at Vienna House Sonne for 11 days. On our arrival, we met with Sonja who made us feel at home.. She met us every morning to see if all was perfect.. Indeed, everything was perfect.. the staff was always smiling and ready to help. The hotel is wonderful and very well situated in the heart of Neuw Markt..! All shops and city life at a walking distance. Trams to different part of Rostock were available and the station is at 30secs walk from the hotel. Thank you Sonja H and your staff for making our stay in Rostock memorable…! ❤️❤️ Vielen Dank 🙏

Wieder wurde uns ein grandioser Jahreswechsel außergewöhnlich ermöglicht. Das Thema - Purple Night -. In der Farbe Lila erstrahlte das Grandhotel im herrlichsten Glanz und passend dazu unzählige Details. Die Restaurants wurden mit viel Liebe dekoriert, durch verschiedene Künstler und angenehmen Gästen mit Leben gefüllt. Im Kurhaus wurden fünf Gänge mit passenden edlen Tropfen kredenzt. Der krönende Abschluss : In der Davidoff - Bar durfte bis früh „gezappelt“ werden. Es sind die vielen Mitarbeiter welche sich auch bis in die frühen Morgenstunden größte Mühe geben um ihren Gästen ein Erlebnis mit möglichst völliger Zufriedenheit zu bescheren. In unseren Augen habt ihr dies wieder bravourös gemeistert, ja ihr habt wieder richtig abgeliefert! Danke dem gesamten Haus! Für das Jahr 2024 sei gewünscht, dass es wieder zahlreiche Gäste gibt, welche das Grandhotel Heiligendamm zu schätzen wissen und mit allen Sinnen die Geschichte des ersten deutschen Seebades positiv weiterverbreiten. RRK-TigerWe were five nights here and we liked it very well. Rooms are bright, clean and modern furnished. Beds are adjustable and shower has several settings. Breakfast was very tasty and it was something for everyone, whether hearty or sweet, yoghurt musli or bread. Orange juice could be pressed itself and other juices were ready. Tea selection was very large and coffee was also available. The only small criticism point: The service force at breakfast (slim, blond, a little older) has made differences between guests. Bsp: Some people have pressed the juice to the table, others should press it themselves and so on. Therefore it exercises a point deduction. Conclude: Hotel is super and recommendable. We're happy to come back.

GGuest UserVery modern, stylish hostel. We also liked it as Ü50 there. We were a little surprised about the narrow rooms, but containers are now cut as well ...... All was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom and the shower were perfect. Our bicycles were able to easily fit in a ride area. The location is very good. Only about 700 meters to the old town and directly at the train station. The only negative point is the price. A hostel that, indeed, mainly responds to younger people with smaller cash bag takes the 128 euros without breakfast per night is too expensive.

GGuest UserWe lived a double room in 4 floors, window to the south, i.e. the courtyard side. All goods and services must be carved from the street to the courtyard with pallet wagons. There is no turning possibility for trucks. We first assess the bathroom. The washing basin only holds the water when you press the stoppers with much power downwards. The shower is emailled and sawn, halts are missing. The glass door to the shower is only opened inwards. That is not possible at all. Important for the hotel assessment is crucial that there is no smoke detector in the room. I thought that since January 2024 is a duty, especially in public buildings. I never had a hotel room without smoke detector. With the continuous mattress, you had his problems, one turns, the other hops with the same. The temperature was 28.6 degrees on the day. A air conditioning, at least in the rooms on the south, I missed. The breakfast room has come into the years and is unprecedented. At 4 stars I expected a table roof, fresh flowers were there. The service staff try to be nice. In the front room is a coffee roast, at least a roasting. The fact that there are two basic coffee varieties, Arabica and Robusta, and the latter is responsible for the coffee, seemed to have been made publicly by nobody. The breakfast offer was enough, the plates were on ice. That was new for me. Personal did not see it missing, it was about the reception and the SPA area.
