Unfortunately there were only 2 young lads working in the whole hotel. They didn’t seem very knowledgable, they charged me for the stay although I had already paid through trip - they did refund me, but that was after I went to speak to them showing them my bank statement.. and my husband then had to go back again to get the refund sorted! For some reason speaking to me wasn’t enough!! They had hardly any meals available in the restaurant. Only burgers! The room itself needs a massive uplift, the bathroom looked really unclean and falling apart. Really sad stay considering it was part of a Christmas gift. Definitely won’t be returning.

Is fine

We stayed in a Premier Plus room which was very spacious and clean with good facilities. Breakfast at 9am was a bit manic but the staff coped with it very well and there was plenty of choice of good food. Great value for money at £55 for the night and 3 quid for the car park.

We stayed in a premier plus room which was modern and comfortable, especially liked the shower. It was clean although lots of cobwebs had been missed. When we checked in we used the machine as no staff were around, but it was easy to use so we were fine with that. There are lots of mixed reviews on here about the parking, we stayed for 3 nights and it varied. If you parked before 7pm you easily got a space, but one evening we drove out for dinner and got back at 10pm, there was only 3 spaces left in the car park which soon got taken. £3 per night parking was a good price. The restaurant are still having supplier issues so they were running a very limited menu which was disappointing. We had 3 starters and 3 mains to choose from…they even ran out of ketchup! However, the female manager/supervisor who served us was lovely, and the food that we picked was tasty. Overall the stay was average due to lack of food at restaurant and the worry of if there will be a parking space available when you get back. However, the bed and room was comfortable and staff were always friendly and helpful.

Room fine, restaurant ran out of food at 7pm, and, breakfast was limited. No one was at check in to assist, several people waiting. Rang the buzzer, told to wait, not a good first impression. Ticket printer didn't work. I think the personal touch is important and not just try to automate for automation and reduce head count perspective.

Booked in for Xmas day. Very welcoming. The most excellent service, very limited staff due to Xmas hols but everyone was so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us. They were really efficient & provided a service above and beyond. Hotel spotless & managed to feed (what looked like a full hotel) with excellent customer service and a cheery smile. Thank you to all the team.
