We enjoyed our brief one-night stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the staff is top-notch. We did have a minor billing hiccup but nothing that wasn't resolved quickly and that didn't detract from our stay. We really do have to give a shoutout to the staff. The area was suffering after a major winter storm, with lots of ice and power outages. The front desk agent that checked us in was super friendly and very efficient. We even got cookies, as IHG members, woohoo! If there's any quibble with the hotel, it's the restaurant. The food was only so-so, but the staff was again, incredibly friendly and efficient. We'd definitely stay here again, no problem.

I can only speak to my experience but, in no way did it resemble the one star reviews. I found the property welcoming in nature. The staff were great and really seemed to like their positions. While I didn’t eat or drink in the hotel, the bar area was quite inviting as was the lobby area in general. I went and looked at the pool and hot tub and it was inviting. The problem I had to work late and the pool was most likely closed. It would be nice if the pool and hot tub were open late w/o children after 9PM. I will be back and I’ll bring the kids too

Let me start by saying that I have never been treated so poorly as I was tonight at the Motel 6 in Tigard. I really hope that what happened to me was an anomaly and not the Motel 6 way of doing business. I travel all over the country working in dog sports and have stayed in many hotels in the last 12 years. I am currently traveling with my service dog of the last 7 years, a service dog in training, and a pet dog and have never had a single problem. My dogs are extremely well behaved, frequently groomed, seasoned travelers and I have never had difficulty with any hotel accommodating my service animal. When I attempted to check in to your hotel, the front desk clerk was extremely rude to me because your policy says two pet dogs are allowed. I explained to her that a service animal is exempt from this policy by ADA law because it is not a pet, it is a necessary medical device. Immediately, she got very aggressive with me and accused me of lying. She demanded I provide proof in the form of a service dog certification. I explained to her that those cards she was referring to are off Amazon and not official. Normally, I do have one but as my dog gear was stolen last weekend from an event venue, along with $3,000 worth of equipment, I do not have his badge or even his vest, which I explained to her. In addition, when I told her if it was going to be an issue I’d go, but I would have to report the ADA violation, she decided to call her manager. The manager told her to rent me the room, I suspect because she didn’t care enough to learn the law. Then, the clerk picked up the receiver, said uhuh a couple times and ok and hung up. Then, she proceeded to tell me she would rent the room to me but they were also going to put me on the “do not rent” list and charge me $150 if there was any fur whatsoever in the room. I explained to her again that they were violating ADA law and I would be reporting it. She then told me she wouldn’t rent me the room if I was going to report them. When I left, I told her that it didn’t have to be like this, and she responded by saying, “yes it did because you’re lying. “ and I walked out the front door at that point. I have reported the incident to U.S. Department of Justice for discriminating against me based on disability. I strongly urge your company to take the time to educate all of your employees on ADA law, especially if you plan on being the “pets stay free” hotel which will attract those of us who have service animals as well as pet dogs. Brief summary of violations: 1. Applied “pet” rules to a service animal 2. Demanded proof of service animal certification 3. Refused service based on presence of service animal 4. Promised to penalize me if I stayed the night with my service animal 5. Accused me of “lying” about my service animal 6. Refused service to me because I would be reporting the discrimination I sincerely hope Motel 6 is as dismayed by the staff at this branch as I am. It is important to know

YYIQINGStayed for nearly two weeks, the hotel room has a small kitchen, very suitable for families. Next to the hotel is fred mayer, it is very convenient to purchase fuel! Satisfied, I will choose next time I go to Portland.
I stayed at this hotel a couple of times while visiting my sister just on the other side of 185th (she had a studio apartment at the time, which wasn't very accommodating for multiple guests). This hotel is situated back off the main roads in a very quiet office park, which makes for a very pleasant stay, but then it's still perfectly close to food and shopping at Tanasbourne, Orenco, Cornell Road, and Highway 26 if you need to get elsewhere in the Portland area. The rooms are clean and well-kept. The breakfast has a good offering, and there's a nice big comfortable sitting area in the lobby. This hotel is kind of expensive depending on when you go, but they've got some great deals in the off-season. My sister has since moved, but I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.
PPEIRANThis hotel is in a good location, only seven or eight hundred meters away from Washington Square, but there is a train road next to it, the noise is quite big, it will be slightly better at night, there is no breakfast, only a cafe bar sells some snacks
GGuest UserRoom is spacious and clean. Front desk staff, Elizabeth, who is also Assistant GM, is very helpful and super kind. She tries to accommodate all our requests.
Location is nice, near shopping center.
Breakfast is very nice - per order at Bistro and not buffet style.
Room was nice. Pillows are not the best. They went flat and hard very fast. Had to ask for covers for the pullout couch. Pool is TINY with no seating away from the splash zone for parents to watch. Breakfast was phenomenal with good choices.
Very comfortable accommodations. I requested an accessible shower and my request was immediately confirmed. The room was quiet and I was able to sleep without disruption from traffic noise. A changing variety of hot food at the breakfast bar and a very generous variety and supply of cold breakfast items. And cookies when I returned in the evening!
TTresa Latham-ScottAsked if we could check out late (2 instead of 12) was told that 2 is the latest we could stay which was great. Next day we were called and asked if we still wanted a late checkout and I said yes, then I was told about a $25 fee. I was NOT told about the fee the night before. I didn't mind paying it, but I do believe I should have been told as soon as I asked. There was water draining from under the building into the parking structure. The other guests are very easy to hear while going through the hallway and very loud. Was a very convenient location, clean room and smelled very fresh.
NNatalieMy visit this time was tad different. The heater didn't warm the room all the way, but I understand they had a slight power outage, with storm. I love how clean and lots of wash clothes were available to use! Thank you so much for your kindness and having a last minute room open. God bless
Friendly staff that has been working here for many years. It’s so nice to go back to a familiar face even after many years away. Nina, the GM, is fantastic and she clearly has the respect and admiration of her staff because she has a lot of long term employees and it’s clearly like a family atmosphere here. It’s clean, feels safe and is quiet. Highly recommend.
