Premier Inn Watford North

We were greeted and checkin in by a lovely lady who I believe was Doreen (apologies if that’s incorrect) she was very polite and helpful and was great with the children too. The room was clean and all set up for us all including a cot for my youngest. For breakfast the gentleman that sat us and cleared our table was also extremely polite and friendly. The food was nice and affordable. They were handling the upkeep and demand well as it was self service so things kept running out fast hut they were on top of it. They cleared out plates away as soon as we were done. We really enjoyed our stay. As a family with the children it can be a bit of a juggle but everything was perfect and made out stay very relaxing and pleasant. Credit to premiers everywhere. Setting a very good standard.

It felt like no one worked there, when we arrived there was no one on reception to let us in. Whenever we were down in the restaurant, it felt like staff were more interested in chatting with one another rather than attending to guests. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable but the signal on the TV was terrible and unlike other hotels, had no app streaming services so we were limited to whatever was on at the time. The bathroom was nice but I probably would've been happier if the towels didn't have someone elses hair on them - but that's probably just an oversight which at that time of night I was more concerned about getting to sleep rather than complaining. I doubt we'll stay again, which is a shame as I've stayed with premier inn at various locations around the country and this one fell short of the wonderful, welcoming service i've previously received.

This hotel is a great location for Harry Potter fans, less than 10 minutes driver to the studio, rooms are what you would expect from premier inn, clean, comfortable and reasonably stylish and an almost guaranteed good night's sleep. There is fast food restaurant within walking distance of the hotel and two supermarkets within a 10min drive.

Always great service from Jennifer, she is such a lovely friendly lady who always goes above and beyond, she makes it feel like a second home and is one of the reasons we go to this hotel specifically. the rooms are always clean and we always sleep well

Perfect location if you're thinking of visiting Harry Poter world. Friendly staff, felt safe and secure, it also has the comfiest bed. Breakfast is good value for money, although it seemed everyone was having parts of cooked and continental when only paying for one or the other so that part was confusing. Apart from that brilliant stay and would recommend.

A quick overnight stop after a visit to the Harry Potter studio tour. We got the train to Watford junction then hopped on the free bus to the Warner brothers studios. Then it was a simple 40 minute walk to the Premier Inn. Polite staff, clean room & comfy bed, we were on the ground floor & it was surprisingly quiet, we slept soundly until our alarms the black out curtains really do their job. I enjoyed a bath with oodles of hot water and huge fluffy towels. Breakfast did the job, not perfect but for £10.99 an adult & free for kids, you can’t go wrong, the staff coped well considering they were super busy, food was frequently topped up and nothing was too much trouble. All in all a good visit. Thank you.
