We were trying to finalize a place to celebrate our son’s birthday. After spending a lot of time researching on the availability of good resorts and hotels, we zeroed in on Taj Wayanad. The reasons were kind of multifold. 1. We were planning for a place which was nearby to Bangalore and was accessible by road, and Wayanad, kind of, fit the bill. 2. We were also a but apprehensive about choosing some other resort as there were media reports of a massive landslide in Wayanad ( this turned out to be more of a hype than reality, as the impact was pretty limited) 3. Had also experienced the hospitality of Taj earlier so this came as a preferred choice The property is located close to the Banasura Sagar lake. This gives an unfiltered and unparallel view of the lake and its surrounding mountains. The roads leading to the resort are very good so accessibility is pretty convenient. The overall experience in Taj Wayanad was nothing short of mesmerizing, the highlight being one of the most picturesque view in the backyard A special mention of the staff Chef Rajmohan (for the amazing food) Obada, Mirlab, Bibina, Meera, Shiju, Leenesh and all the others who have made our stay memorable. “Thank You”

Visited Shamiana restaurant in Taj Wayanad - Ganesh welcomed us even though it was late in night for dinner. We had lamb shank with paratha; service was excellent and the food was excellent- freshly prepared and excellent taste. Lamb shank was 10/10. Very tasty and a must try for people visiting this place. Marlab was our waiter and he was so polite and gave us a great service. They even arranged for a surprise cake on last min request from my wife for my b’day. The whole team sang the b’day song as well for me. Great experience and a must try. Cost is extremely reasonable for a beautiful place and ambience. It has a beautiful lake view sit out too.

Great hospitality , Thanks Mr Ganesh Awasthi from Shamiyana. The food was so yummy and fresh.Some amazing views of the hills and the lake from the the patio. Would definitely love to visit again……………………………………………………………….. Regards Tushar

Location of the resort is just Awesome !! It was like four days spent in paradise. Guests were very less due to off season. They upgraded us to Luxury Vila. I gonna miss that walking track and I can’t describe the walking experience in words. Food was Excellent and they tailored it as per our taste. Because of less guests buffet breakfast was not there but it was blessing in disguise, we enjoyed it even more. The team of Shamiyana Multi cuisine restaurant was excellent and having food out there was a delight. Ganesh and Nirav were very helpful and took a very good care of us. We are completely rejuvenated and will definitely come back again

Kaverappa Meera Bibina Gautham Hari Lina Ujjwal These people made my stay very memorable. This was a excellent stay . The most memorable In all of taj . Excellent property and special thanks to Front office manager hari for the upgrade to pool villa and the entire team was awesome. Would like to came back soon . They had decorated the bed with flowers for my wife's birthday and and made a cake with great featured chocolates and welcome amenities...and the return gift for staying also ... was a great gesture by every staff ..thank you all ... 😊😊😍

One of the best hotels I have ever visited. Overlooking over the banasura sagar dam that’s what make it a must visit property. The infinity swimming pool is their USP. Rooms the quite spacious. Food is excellent. Staff is so cooperative. Ankit, Ganesh and Anoop served us one of the tastiest food. Overall it is one of wonderful property one should visit

The view from Taj Wayanad is amazing. Their team of Chef Akhil and others including Sebin and Ganesh fed us tasty South Indian cuisine. The team at the front desk is also really helpful and provided us with an upgrade as well. Our overall experience was outstanding.
