This is not a simple rest stop on the journey, but a soul home that perfectly matches the atmosphere of Weishan Ancient City. Hidden in the middle of the bustling city, once you cross the threshold, it becomes completely quiet and you can't hear the hustle and bustle of the street at all. One step forward, two steps forward, three steps forward... gradually getting better. The beauty of traveling lies in the scent of flowers when you inadvertently walk to the window, and the rustle of gravel paths filled with sunlight. I will definitely come back again, because this is the impression of the ancient city that haunts me. I have no choice in terms of service. I feel more social-phobic than me (hahaha). The hotel staff are doing everything attentively, from the guy who was waiting for us downstairs in Gongchen early in the morning to help us park the car, to the ones who help us when we ask questions. The lady at the front desk (should her surname be Chen?) is considerate and warm. I have spent three Spring Festivals in Dali in a row, and my favorite place that has the most flavor of an ancient city is Weishan, and Yunxi feels like she has her own pure land in Weishan. I did take a lot of photos, but there is no need to post them to prove how great they are, and there is no need for me to brag about them. You have to experience the surprises and unforgettable memories by yourself.

The rooms are modern, clean and comfy, and the service is very friendly and helpful. I loved my stay there. Luxury in an old remote town. USB chargers had turbo mode. Curtains perfectly blocked the light. Hot shower with proper water pressure. However, toilet was annoying. It is as loud as one on the airplane, and auto flushes as soon as you move a little bit. Otherwise it would be 5 stars for amenities too. Service was great, and I can easily compare it to 4 stars hotels in big cities. For a foreigner, check in took about 40 seconds, which is super fast. Roof has a nice terrace with tables.

Next door is the popular Pioneer Bookstore, where you can have a cup of tea and spend a lazy afternoon in the bookstore. The B&B is very ethnic, and the owner's care is reflected everywhere. The yard is not big, but there are many green plants and the air is fresh. The room is large, and there are green plants by the window. The whole display makes people feel like they are in a Bai courtyard. In the afternoon, I brewed a pot of Pu'er and sat on the tatami in front of the window.
