Das Hotel Jungclaus liegt in Wentorf im Südosten Hamburgs, weitab von dessen Zentrums. Als ich abends ankam, war die Rezeption geschlossen, aber es war alles bestens vorbereitet, so dass der Check In trotzdem problemlos funktioniert hat. Das Zimmer war sauber, hell und vor allem sehr ruhig. Die Minibar war gut gefüllt. Im Hof war genügend Platz für die Autos der Gäste. Mir hat es im Hotel Jungclaus gut gefallen.

What a charming boutique-style hotel! Wonderful friendly staff; perfectly located for the purpose of our visit. Lovely bar area for a nice glass of wine, comfortable room, nicely appointed and a delicious breakfast.

Das kleine Hotel wirkt sehr nett und charmant. Das gleiche gilt auf jeden Fall für die dort arbeitenden Damen! Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Frühstücksbetreuung ebenfalls. Parkplätze ausreichend vorhanden. Zimmergröße war gut und der Schlafkomfort ebenfalls. WLAN ok. Frühstück war sehr gut inkl. der frisch zubereiteten Spiegeleier. Kann ich guten Gewissens empfehlen!

meine Frau und ich waren begeistert als wir am Hotel ankamen und die schöne Villa sahen. Die Begrüßung von einer der vier charmanten Damen die das Haus führen, war sehr herzlich und auch unser Hund wurde nett begrüßt. Unser DZ lag seitlich an der Straße, so dass wir von der Straße nicht viel mitbekamen. Abgesehen davon, liess der Straßenverkehr Abends nach und wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht. Die Betten waren sehr gut! Die Schrankgröße in unserem DZ war für eine Kurzreise ausreichend, das Bad schön und groß! Einziger kritikpunkt: Es fehlte ein Schminkspiegel am Waschbecken. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls bestens und kleinere Wünsche wurden, wenn möglich direkt erfüllt. Rühreier oder Spiegeleier gab es ebenfalls auf Wunsch. Hunde dürfen mit in den Frühstücksraum, wenn sie ruhig sind und unter dem Tisch liegen bleiben. Für unseren Hund kein Problem, er kennt das von Hotelbesuchen. Der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt neben dem Hotel war ausreichend groß und der Wald hinter dem Hotel war perfekt für eine kleine aber auch große Spazier-/Gassirunde mit dem Hund. Wenn wir wieder einmal nach Hamburg fahren, ist dieses Hotel schon fest eingeplant. Gute Gaststätten gibt es in der nähren Umgebung.
