Stunning location in the wilderness, we couldn't love this place more. The staff and service was excellent, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help eg providing extra crockery/cookware for the cabin, advice on what to do or just up for a chat. The location and the little restored cottages are gorgeous. We had a 2 bedroom one, great for 2 couples. Plenty of room in the lounge, comfy chairs and couch with a gas fire. The place was spotless. Leave your phone and technology in the car as there is no coverage. This was a blessing, first holiday with the family without scrolling! Board games, walks, sightseeing, photos, it was a real detox in so many ways. Bring all of your provisions though as there are no shops. Restaurant open from Oct to end of summer. We had one meal in the restaurant which was delicious (vegetarian for us) and went to the Happy Hour 5-6pm most nights. Of course, the Tarkine forest and Pieman River were the major drawcard. We had some rain (it's a rainforest after all) but lots of sun at other times. The walks are well marked and fairly easy, be prepared for all weather and have good shoes. We did both boat trips, the Arcadia 2 down the Pieman to the heads (4.5hrs) and then the Sweetwater cruise on a little boat for an hour into Savage River to see a sunken wreck. Lots of history of the pioneers, boats and flora and fauna (particularly the famous Huon Pines.) Highly recommend both but the long cruise is a must. There are kayaks for hire depending on rain forecasts, there's a fair current on that river so safety is essential. We came into Corinna via the North on a long windy dirt rd and departed by a 1 minute ride across the river on a punt to head for Zeehan and down the South. We stayed for 4 nights which meant we could really relax and not have to do everything in a rush. There are tent platforms and spaces for a few caravans and self contained vans and a boat ramp,
