The grounds/landscaping were well-done and maintained, the building layout was not at all like a ”typical” Super 8, more like a higher-end line of hotels, the furnishings were in excellent shape, the room was clean (even in the corners). This was my first stay with this brand and I was very impressed. I did not make the reservation. The room included a mini-kitchen of refrigerator and two-burner countertop complete with pots, plates, cups, etc. and all were in excellent condition. I did not use the kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was in excellent condition and had a good sized closet to hang clothes. I don't normally review beds since they are very subjective. It was very good. The hotel was busy because of weekend events and it was still quiet and easy. The outdoor patio was clean and in great condition, and a nice touch! Breakfast included typical hot foods. All was well supplied and a good variety of traditional hot and cold foods. Plenty of shopping and restaurants either in a walk or short drive. Great stay!

So, the context for this review is that we were traveling from Mississippi to the College World Series in Omaha. EVERYTHING around Omaha was booked, so our stays getting up there and while we were there were pretty awful: a Holiday Inn with no breakfast and a weak A/C in June, a roach motel in the middle of nowhere. So when we left Omaha exhausted (and victorious #hottytoddy), I found this hotel about 2.5 hours away from Omaha where we could rest before the last 11 hour leg of the trip. And it checked all the boxes. It was super clean and comfortable. They had plenty of towels and rags, and extra pillows on the bed (slept better than I have in 3 days on the road). Free DELICIOUS hot breakfast the next morning with waffles, sausage, Western omelets, and many cold choices too. The staff was helpful and polite, and left little ‘happy’ bags in the lobby for guests to pick up (free water and snacks). Zero complaints. None. To top it off, it was the cheapest rate I had paid compared to every other sad excuse for a hotel we had stayed at. Stay here. Trust me.

Second time staying here and it never disappoints! Was nice during covid and even better now! The room was very clean, the bathroom spacious and the bed and pillows!!! I did not want to get out of bed in the morning!! We come down once a year for a date night and this is our favorite hotel to stay at! The hot breakfast in the morning is amazing! Biscuits/gravy, sausage links, scrambled egg circles with cheese, cinnamon rolls (fresh made in waffle iron) or waffles, cereals, assorted rolls, yogurt; juices. Something for everyone!!
