Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza Hotel Reviews

Hotel location was great and short walk to restaurants and tourist areas. We checked in, threw our stuff in the room, and immediately left. Wasn’t until 10 or 11 when we returned to realize they didn’t put us in the king room we booked. That was disappointing but hotel was clean and roomy. We would stay again!

The room is not big. We were assigned a room on the fourth floor facing the street. However, it was not noisy once the window was closed. The hotel provides shower gel, shampoo, small soap, and slippers. You need to prepare other things such as toothbrushes and shower caps. There are breakfast rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors. There are usually more people on the 3rd floor. The coffee machine at the entrance of the breakfast room on the 3rd floor has hot water and can be used 24 hours a day, which provides convenience for us to drink hot water. The swimming pool on the first floor of the hotel is very beautiful. It would be perfect if we could live on the first floor. There are also self-service vending machines and ice machines on the first floor. The facilities are good. The hotel is not very luxurious, but it is very comfortable and warm. Moreover, the hotel is in a superior location, not far from various attractions, very convenient and safe, and there is no problem relying on Uber for travel.

The room still has a sense of age. The parking lot is on the G1 floor, and then take the elevator to the lobby on the third floor. The American breakfast is quite satisfactory. Then there is a better location.

I couldn't sleep because of the creaking door from another room in a very old hotel.

What a great visit to LA at this hotel great area, great room and great service. Would definitely stay again.

My family really enjoyed our stay here. I chose this hotel for the large room size- a separate bedroom area with the french doors and a breakfast. This allowed early risers and later risers to have space which we needed. The kitchenette wad helpful as we would walk to Trader Joes for salads, meals to have on hand. The staff at the front desk were very kind and welcoming. We had no issue getting towels, shampoo etc. The shower is AMAZING. Bathrooms are quite nicely updated. The pool area is very serene and relaxing. We chose this hotel as well for safety reasons to not be right in Hollywood. With that, we did need to uber/taxi to places which added up quickly $$$. No other grocery stores walkable aside from TJs. We were happy with our stay. Clean, comfortable, safe and relaxing. Thank you!

Location, hotel parking, staff, and breakfast was all excellent! The hotel is traditional and old school hollywood, we like modern, but otherwise I would definitely recommend and return for another stay. Hotel rooms are very spacious

The staff were kind. The breakfast was good. The pool area is inviting. The location is good if you are looking for the Hollywood experience. The bathroom appeared to be updated and was nice. The whole interior of the hotel needs a refresh. It feels outdated and unmaintained. Our room smelled bad, possibly a combination of mildew and cigarette smoke. The furniture and look of the room probably felt more unappealing because of the odor. We always prefer queen beds over double beds to sleep two people.

The staff was very friendly and super accommodating. Free breakfast had many options. Parking structure was hard to find, but once we parked it was easy access into the hotel and safe. I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful pool area, clean gym. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

There was someone above us walking back and forth for 40 minute at 5-6am. And i asked front desk to check for us, but he said it is because the person is packaging to leave. The front desk hang off without even checking for us, which was rude. The person did not leave. And it didnt stop. After a few minutes of quiet he will continue walking in the room with heavy steps like the ceiling is gonna come down.

Nice staff. Clean room. Parking is expensive, but that’s WeHo. Nice breakfast with made to order waffles. Only negative, is that after 4 pm when housekeeping is gone, they are understaffed.

Elevator not going to parking. Was supposed to get wine on arrival asked for cabernet and 3 glasses, recieved pinot noir with 2 glasses. Went to front desk asked for correct wine and another glass. 3 hours later....still nothing... our room has a weird smell..
