Hotels near Transitowne Kia, West Seneca

The Hotel is located right at the Buffalo Airport, the hotel was nice and clean. Did not hear any planes overhead, room was clean, beds were comfortable, easy check-in and check out. The TV in room was small and didn't work, but we were too tired to care. The downfall is there is no nightlife in Buffalo, seems everything closes at 11pm. Hard to find food after 11pm. The sportsbar attached to hotel closes too early. If we would return to hotel if had to again. Rates were cheap compared to others in area.

Easy to find the hotel, rooms are very good and clean and maintained

Very good, this is the one with the highest density of bedding in nearly 10 holidayinn. Clean and comfortable! Other aspects are unified standards.

There are breakfast, usually American scrambled eggs and boiled eggs, as well as sausage and ham. You can also make some waffles yourself. There are three kinds of cereals. There are two kinds of fruits. Basically, there are drinks, like juice or milk. The hotel has a washing machine and dryer, and each floor has it. Washing machine 8 25 cents wash once, the dryer is 4 25 cents. If you don't have enough cents, you can go to the front desk to change. Baggage can also be stored at the front desk without any fees. There is a parking lot.

We stayed at The Sleep Inn Buffalo Amherst on September 14/15th (one night) 2022 in Room 514. First impression of the place pretty clean and inviting though a little dark and slightly outdated. The receptionist, Melanie, was outstanding, super friendly and followed through with all our requests. She made our stay exceptional! As far as the room - adequate. There are a few MINOR maintenance and housekeeping issues that should be addressed to make the room better: 1. The bathroom toilet paper dispenser had used up roll of paper on it with only one use remaining! It had the customary “v” fold so I know housekeeping saw it but let it fly. See photo below. 2. Speaking of “fly” there was a fly buzzing around in the room when we first entered. Very annoying. Had to swat it. 3. The bathroom light (not the shower) works but intermittently. It takes a few tries to get it to come on. Probably the switch needs replaced. 4. The bathroom door does not lock from inside. Needs slight adjustment. 5. The shower head pipe coming from the wall has a cover plate that will not stay in place and slides out from the wall and falls on the shower head. 6. At the bottom of the shower door, inside and outside, there is an ugly buildup of mold/mildew. Needs cleaned better. 7. The room has a slight mildew odor and smells like feet. Maybe it needs a good shampooing. Overall, a pleasant stay. The breakfast, on Sept 15, was much better than we expected. Plenty of everything to make for a great breakfast. The dining area employee (did not catch her name, from Cambodia) was super nice and friendly and talked to us at length and asked us how our stay was; which was overall great!

The room is OK, the breakfast is very simple, there is no problem with eating, the front desk has always had coffee and tea and hot water. There is nothing around, but there is a Chinese restaurant not far from the car that is delicious.

It is a relatively old-fashioned hotel type, but the English at the front desk has to be very standard, there are not many types of breakfast, but it fully meets the needs, the proprietress and each table say hello and chat, the surrounding environment is also very good, unfortunately did not go shopping.

The hotel is very good, I recommend it, the environment, the bar, etc. are OK, the room is also very big, much better than going to Japan, the breakfast is a bit simple, maybe the old beauty doesn't matter.
