The views are unreal, the rooms are beautiful, the pool is great, the food is delicious, the service is great😍😍😍 Off-road driving is stressful and requires a big car for comfort. The only thing I didn’t like was the Safari (((there were very few animals, we saw white rhinoceroses - they are in a separate enclosure, like in a zoo, and buffalos in the bushes, there were no other big five animals, and there weren’t very many other animals like antelope and zebra (((

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Saw the big 5 which was amazing . Lodges clean , food amazing staff friendly and welcoming . I celebrated my birthday while staying and was treated to a breakfast outside over looking the park . A BIG thank you to “flo” our game driver who was always bubbly and “Teresa” who looked after us on my birthday An amazing experience

This is without a doubt the best place I have ever stayed. Our room had a stunning view of the plains and watering hole (we even spotted a herd of elephants from our balcony) and was spotlessly clean and cosy, with so many cute personal touches. The staff felt like a family and couldn't help us enough. Our every whim was catered to - they even made me lactose free versions of everything on the menu, including a special dessert every night. Every meal was divine and some of the best food I have ever tasted. We were blown away by the service. Our ranger Sean was so warm and friendly and super knowledgeable about the animals. We saw all of the Big 5 and then some, including the elusive cheetahs. They also offer nature walks, where we tracked the herd of giraffes and learnt so much. This was a magical experience for us and I only hope that we can return one day for another amazing experience. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Excellent experience. Staff was very kind and attent and this in an extremely comfortable accomodation behind pur imagination. Our safari guide captured our enthousiasm and has given us a lot of insight and understanding of landscape, animals and culture. Thank you Freddy for the interactive exchange during our stay. Tracking, spotting, approaching 4 of big5 and many others.

Amazing stay. Service was better than 5 star! The downsides were the lunch offerings which were stodgy food and not healthy. The evening meals and the staff were amazing. My partner was ill from the day after arriving here for 3 days which also made us suspicious of the meatball he ate when we arrived for lunch. He had diarrhoea and vomiting. It could have been covid, but then why did I not suffer any effects? Nevertheless, the staff were wonderful and the safari was amazing and the range was amazing.

This was a 4 day stay , enabling us to do 8 game drives. We saw 4 of the big 5 and it was so well organised , with a very knowledgable guide , plus running a bar for 'sundowners' , great coffee and Aftican folk music. This in addition to making sure we saw the animals we really wanted to see as close up as is safe. The main lodge is beautiful , with high quality self contained lodges for guests , superb food and a spa and gym if that wasn't enough The staff made us very welcome , looked after us so well and made us feel special .

Kuzuko is one of the greatest experiences I've ever had from a holiday. I'm not sure I'll do it justice with my words but I'll try. From the moment we got there, we were welcomed with such warmth and friendliness. We were too late for the afternoon game drive but we were brought down to our beautiful chalets with stunning views over the reserve. Dinner was provided that evening and travelling with a picky eater was worried about what would be on offer. I need not have worried as everything offered was amazing and plenty of choices. The following days were game drives and eating. ( with a little bit of drinking thrown in). The game drives just brought the experience to a whole new level. Initially I was a reluctant visitor to a game reserve but Luk and Flo our guides did absolutely everything to ensure we made the most out of our game drives. They were fun, so knowledgeable and passionate and did everything to ensure we saw the big 5 and more. All the staff of the kuzuko were amazing This was a 7* experience and should not be missed as part of a South African trip. As most other reviews have mentioned the road up to kuzuko is 42km of dirt road and very bumpy so get the transfers from port Elizabeth. It is an extra cost but the trip to Kuzuko is more than worth it. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

What a gem! We are South Africans living in the UK who visited the Lodge in August 2024. Upon arrival you are greeted with drinks, a hand massage and a very friendly team. The Lodge reception is spacious yet feels intimate enough to sit and relax next to a log fire, with a drink in your hand and a book. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed amazing sunsets with a G & T. The food is delicious and very interesting. I particularly enjoyed the Spekboom salad, something that you will only ever eat here but there are always something for the pickiest eater. We were surprised with a birthday cake for my 13year old. Incredible attention to detail. Our guide, Lena, was extremely knowledgeable. Although we are used to South Africa and the wildlife, it was our children's first safari experience. We saw the big five and could sometimes sit and watch them at our leisure with Lena patiently answering all of our questions. We also saw quite a few of the lesser known game. Each game drive included yummy snacks and a drink in different locations enjoying the spectacular scenery and sunsets. It must be mentioned that seeing animals in a natural habitat includes a shap eye and a bit of patience and it is so rewarding when you find them. I have to mention the following staff who went out of their way to make our stay special, Sean, Elena, Dedrick, Yolisa and Clifford. Thanks all - we will be back. ❤️
