Residence Inn Fort Lauderdale Weston

Everything was great, the rooms had plenty of space and were comfortable. If the hot tub had been working we would have enjoyed using it.

The staff were unfriendly and the advertisement was misleading. My daughter put her credit card on file for incidentals and it was charged multiple times. The hotel did reimburse her but it should have never happened. Instead of being apologetic about things, they were unfriendly. I will not stay again.

In May of 2023 I stayed at the Marriott for four months due to my daughter’s pending life saving liver transplant, I never checked to see if I was awarded my loyalty points from hotel although I gave them my loyalty number as I assumed it was just credited automatically, after four months we took her home. Two years later she now needs to go back in hospital, I booked a room again and when I went to apply my points there were none, I then called customer service for Marriott Bonvoy, spoke to a customer service rep who said there was nothing he could do, I asked for a supervisor who rudely told me I should have checked before I left to make sure I got points and that it’s my fault not theirs and there's nothing he can can do, taking my daughter home home was the only thing on my mind at that time and not my points, he said there’s no way he could go back that far, I told him my credit card company would provide proof that I stayed there the amount of time I did, he said no again and that it’s my own fault, at the time of stay I was moved to three different rooms due to leaks, mold, and flooding, I’m sure during the moves my loyalty points were lost in the system. Where’s the empathy and understanding, I asked to maybe split the point difference so I didn’t lose out totally and again I got a firm no. This wasn’t my fault, I haven’t traveled since and now she’s going in to hospital again and those four months would have given me a room for this upcoming surgery. I now have reservations at another Marriott with no loyalty points on record. Just wanted to voice my displeasure on Marriott and its customer service and attitude.

Excellent customer service recieved by Zachary C. and Cassandra at the front desk. Zachary made excellent restaurant delivery recommendations that my family and I found "super delicious". My room was beautiful and had everything I needed. The hotel is "Pet Friendly"; which I loved. I would definitely return to Residence Inn and would highly recommend it to my family and friends.

The system was down at check-in. We couldn't get room keys. There's no phone/internet service. We were only here for 1 night. It's now almost time to check-out and the system is still down/we have yet to receive keys. While we understand that things happen, we were made to think this was a temporary issue.

I go twice a year to Weston and i stay here, i never have a problem but this time de matress on the sofa bed wasn't very clean, it had stain, After Covid they dont have someone to help you make the sofa bed or help with any air conditionar anymore because they have only one staff memeber at night that is in the reception area. You need to have and emergency staff to help you with these or any problems.
