Terrific hotel. Clean as could be, with friendly and competent service, and free breakfast was perfectly maintained even though hotel was largely full and it was a lot of work for the staff. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip through.

I will say it was easy to check in and get in our room. However, I reserved a multiple beds room( 2 queens and pull out sofa) we were put in a king room. We were in a time cru h when we checked as we were attending a concert and I still needed to get ready. Before we left my boyfriend and our two friends found a pill in the window! As we were leaving ( an hour after check in) I stopped at frint desk to let them know that I paid more for the bigger room with multiple beds and what I found more disturbing was the pill in the window. I even showed the person at the desk the picture and he said”oh that’s unlikely but sorry for that” he did offer to move us to the right room but again we were leaving for a show and already had so much unpacked. I feel I not only should have been given money back because the rate was more like I said, but also to brush me off about us finding the pill is unacceptable. I also work as a manager of a large hotel chain and know this is not how it should have been handled. If you would of sent someone they would have also saw the pill which we left in the window for you staff to take care.. I’m not touching someone’s medication that’s for sure.

we used the Fairfield in Wausau for one of hotel choices for our wedding guests. we worked with hotel desk lead, Megan. she went above and beyond to facilitate our stays, and work on our shuttle. she was very prompt on replying to our emails and answering our questions. she was very flexible with our requests. the Fairfield is lucky to have Megan as she pays attention to detail!! thank you Megan for making our arrangements stress free!!!

Great stay. Took 3 teenage boys to Granite peak on Saturday and stayed here after. Service was great, clean, and the best Fairfield breakfast I have seen.
