Overall, it's good. There are too few breakfast options. You have to bring your own swimming trunks to use the sauna, which is a bit troublesome.

Excellent hotel, just a pity our view was to back overlooking bins and food entrance yard and lorry arrives at 7.am each morning. Food was excellent as were staff. My only gripe was in the bar/lounge at closing time being asked to stand for "the soldiers song" (Irish National Anthum.) I am not a bigot, have stayed in Donegal dozens of times, had holidays all over Europe and never heard a national song being played, surely Castlecourt Hotels Ireland needs to step out of the 1960/70s and move on in life.

This beautifully appointed hotel is a great place to stay and just around the town center. Everything is within walking distance. My room was great and I appreciated the free water bottles, and fan was already in the closet. They anticipated what their guest needed. I was also impressed by the hospitality of the staff — I had a specific requests, and they were very accommodating. They have a great restaurant where you can get a good meal, and nice pub and vast seating areas where you can hang out with friends. The atmosphere of the hotel is very positive and good place to stay for families and friends.

We enjoyed our stay at CastleCourt very much. When we arrived Sarah at reception was most helpful. We both had a lovely evening meal and the bar food was excellent. One of the things l noticed most was that the service was excellent in all areas. Our room was spacious and bed very comfortable. It was spotless . Breakfast was good and the service to each table spot on. In many hotels breakfast can be chaotic and nobody knows who they are serving ,but here they know exactly what they are doing ,and you are not hanging around waiting to ask for anything. My kind of Hotel. Sarah checked us out and was as courteous as ever. Thankyou Sarah. We will return .

My husband need high seat 2 sit on because of his disability. NO proper seats in front of hotel. Couches are so low and uncomfortable. Was work goin on in rnoom next dr. Very noisy

While the overall stay was fine there are some things that were really not okay. The room was cold at night and my son was freezing. We had to go looking for an extra duvet. On Friday morning, I got breakfast and found a long hair in it which completely turned me off and so I ended up having no breakfast at all. Made me feel sick. I have attached a picture of the skirting in the room which is in dire need of refurbishment. The phone was not working and we informed reception twice and it was not fixed. One of the sidelights was not working. We found dirty white socks under the bed which indicates the rooms werent cleaned properly. It was a shame that these things let the hotel down.
