Tuskar House by the Sea

Excellent accommodation for staying one night prior to catching the Rosslare Ferry. We stayed one night on a room only basis as we had to leave at 7am for the ferry. The room was very spacious and an excellent bathroom with a very good walk-in Shower. We had a double bed and single bed in our room. No complaints at all except the Wifi in the room would not work.

Only an overnight stay before catching the ferry, but it was perfect in every way. Beautiful room, spotless and comfortable. We had a great nights sleep then woke to a beautifully presented breakfast. Our host was charming and we chatted about our travels. We feel really well rested for our onward trip. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

What a welcome by Kristyl so we knew our stay would be great. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and very modern. Kristyl made us a very good breakfast that set us up for a drive to the West Coast. Tuskar House is real value for money Baie dankie Kristyl and hope to see you soon

Like I would imagine, most who stay here, we were catching the ferry the next day, so it’s mostly for convenience. The place is no frills, and there is no breakfast served, though I believe it is available at a ‘sister’ hotel. The room was large and airy, and clean and comfortable. Parking is off the road. There is no bar for food and Rosslare harbour area has limited facilities, though there is a couple of take away places to eat or a supermarket if you’re prepared to sort yourself out. Ferry terminal is literally 2 minutes away. Would be happy to stay again.

We have stayed here a number of times before catching the early morning ferry. All ways very good very clean large rooom spacious modern bathroom Only 2 minutes drive to ferry Lovely cliff top walk Alongside secret gardens We will return Close to restaurants and supermarket

Rooms are lovely Went with my partner and three kids.really not ideal for families to be honest.Stayed 3 nights.had breakfast one morning which was very pricey and was told if we wanted beans it would be an extra one euro which I couldn't believe.The breakfast was horrible and my kids would not eat any of it.Was very disappointed. Rooms were lovely with a lovely view of the harbour.For the four days we were their not once was rooms cleaned.had to ask for tissue and milk as we ran out.sheets or towels were not changed.we ended up buying more tissue ourselves.Bin was not empties and had to ask for it to be emptied as had a toddler with u .that was on first day and no one ever came to empty bin after that.Overall lovely rooms and beautiful location but not for families if staying more than one night and definitely don't have the breakfast
