Hotel’s location great, close to seafront and town centre. The room smelt a but funny as you walked in and I would not have been able to open the window without my boyfriends help. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest it looked like someone tried to flush a teabag down the toilet and it was stuck on the bottom. The water pressure on the 3rd floor was absolutely rubbish, it would’ve been easier to have a wash in the sink. We did request a room with a bath tub, which we didn’t get, but on the other hand the hotel had a little outdoor garden with sauna and hot tub which we did use for additional £20/person and we did not regret it! Also the young man on the reception was extremely helpful.

Got there a little earlier the guy behind the counter got us a parking permit upgrade to a bigger room with sea view very help full for eating places all round very good experience at the hotel would stay there again no problem

I came here last weekend with my partner and daughter and we was only coming for the day but ended up booking this hotel last minute. I must say we was very pleased! Nice room, comfy bed and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! I highly recommend this as a place to stay and we will definitely be booking to stay again when we next make a visit! Just had a fab few days at Gloucester House with our book group. We loved the seafront location, the proximity to good restaurants and the stylish decor of the hotel. The luxurious lounge overlooking the sea was a fantastic space for us to socialise when the weather was unkind. Our rooms were comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-equipped. The breakfasts were excellent, and the scrambled egg was to die for! Karen and Jonathan gave us a warm welcome, and certainly went the extra mile to meet all our requests.

I recently stayed at this charming guest house and was thoroughly impressed. The Seaview room was cozy and conveniently located right across from the beach. Cleanliness was exemplary throughout the property. The owner, who manages the establishment, is exceptionally friendly and maintains the place impeccably. Myself and my 9 year old daughter had a twin room for one night. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly man that took our bags until we could check in at 4. They then took them to our room for us. The room was clean and all you would need, the water pressure is amazing one of the best showers I have had in a long time. Our room had hand wash, shower gel, shampoo and towels included as well as the usual tea and coffee. When we checked out at 10am I asked if it would be possible to keep our bags safe until I got the train home so we could really enjoy our last day, again the staff were amazing and said of course straight away, I asked if we had a time frame and I was told the doors get shut at 11 so any time before that, how amazing is that! I can’t say how impressed I was with the staff and our stay especially for the money. We are looking forward to coming again soon.
