Horrible place to stay. I book a room at the front, and they switched me to a room at the back. They never asked if I wanted to change rooms. The owner just forces the change on me and never gave me a choice. It looks like a nice historical house from the outside, and it is located in a central area, which is great to be able to walk everywhere. Whitehorse is a small town, so everywhere is a short walk. A car is only needed to leave Whitehorse area. On the inside, everything is ancient and needs improvement. The owner was rude to me.

Lovely guest house ideally located in downtown Whitehorse. We particularly appreciated Bernie's welcome, the historic character of the building, the cleanliness of the place, the comfort of the beds, the possibility of cooking and spending time in front of the wood stove! Thanks again Bernie!!!

Cyr Suite has lots of space to cook at home, work at the desk, or relax on the couches. I love the cozy old-style furniture and you have restaurants, Wykes Independent Grocer, trails, shopping, and museums nearby. Bernie was a great host, always available if I had questions or wanted to chat! I was the only one there and had fun exploring the whole house by myself. Parking, cable TV, WiFi, and free souvenirs were also nice bonuses!

Thanks to Bernie and Pam for the opportunity to stay in their charming summer overflow house right in the heart of downtown. The place is spacious and well-appointed and has different vibrant wall colours in every room! Amazing value, ideal location, kind hosts. Be aware that the walls are thin so you might want to bring earplugs if you are very sensitive to noise.

I booked the green room for three nights, and they switch to the worst rose room. Also, a lot of things in the home are broken, like the TV and dishwasher. There are no locks on the rooms. After checking in, they ignore me during the rest of the stay. They do not ask if everything is good or bad. They did even talk to me on the last day when it was time to leave. Service could have been much better and the house in better condition.

The owner is very nice and was there for our arrival. It's not a real B&B since lunch is not included, but you have access to a functional kitchen and everyone has their own bathroom. I found that the places were neglected. There is, however, a beautiful garden.

When we were arriving, I messaged the property to let them know when we would likely check in but received no response so I was a little worried that no one would be there to check us in! Thankfully Bernie was there in the end to check us in. Would have been nice to get a response though! Upon arrival the front door lock was broken but Bernie fixed it that day. Our room only had a bolt lock so there was no way to lock it if we weren’t in the room itself so something to keep in mind. The guest house had everything we needed to cook which was nice and the green room perfectly fit 3 people. The house itself is a historical house so is old and creaky so it is impossible to be really quiet if getting up in the night unfortunately but something to expect when booking here. That being said, this was good value for the price and having the ability to cook is a great way to save money when travelling !

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was perfect for our family of four who spent a few days exploring Whitehorse. The suite had everything we needed and was close to downtown. It's not a fancy place (which suited us just fine!) but the property and suite are well maintained and the owner, Bernie, was incredibly helpful and nice. I would definitely recommend!

Bernie kindly greeted us very late at night after a long day of airline delays. The suite was everything we needed for a few days in Whitehorse and was within walking distance of downtown. There's a beautiful garden in the back and two friendly dogs, although they nearly gave me a heart attack when we arrived so late at night ha ha. It was a great stay at the Historical Guest House.
