Everything was excellent. Staff, cleanliness, the room. I was surprised that there was a kitchenette with dishes. There was not a view of the river, but the nearby arena shot off fireworks and I could see those from the room! There's a coffeeshop across the parking lot, though it wasn't needed since there's coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast included hot food items and several toppings like nuts and berries for either oatmeal or yogurt. Parking was very easy. It has a pool right off the elevator. The alarm clock was easier to set than most. The mattress was very soft. I like the rug under the sofa, which I believe is intended for dogs and would be easily washable. The TV had free Showtime. I would stay there again.

Very convenient being right next to the interstate to go anywhere within 10 minutes. It was nice having a fridge and a microwave in the room as well to heat up leftovers from lunch and dinner time. All in all it was a pretty decent stay.

Love the pool and hot tub!! Room keys were not working so that kind of sucked. Had to ask front desk to unlock the door or just leave it unlocked when you left!! I know things happen so not that big of a deal!

This hotel says that it offers meeting rooms a free breakfast And it even says that they offer a laundry facilities on site . This is all lies they don't have a lottery facility not a washer in the building which is one of the reasons I've got the room, they don't have free breakfast all this is a homemade coffee pot of coffee with generic sugar and cream next to it there's no breakfast at all no food, The place is old and very run down it looks nothing like the pictures at least 30 years old They don't even have a 24 hour front desk I could get ahold of the front desk all night long when I kept trying to call. And the people that stay in that motel are people that live there I did not see any guests from out of town or any guests at all they were all people lived there permanently! I am completely embarrassed for Wyndham to have their name on this hotel because obviously they haven't been there to inspect it or see it it is atrocious!!!

The check in staff and the bartenders were all very nice and put up with us being obnoxious clean hotel and very close to airport with a shuttle that runs 24/7 I would definitely stay there again. pick up was easy too.

GGuest UserFriendly staff. Clean quiet atmosphere, breakfast was great, always fully stocked. Price was a little high for the area but was worth it. Only negative thing was not having any vending machines, had to walk all the way to the front every time we needed a water.

GGuest UserI can not believe this was not higher in the ratings; however, it is brand new so it is just starting to get reviews. I could not imagine staying anywhere else. This is a brand new hotel on Douglas the main street with good access by car or foot to most of the things you want to see. The room was great as well as the service, but the best part was the easy access to walk downtown and things like the riverwalk. In addition, there were several great restaurants that were easily reached from here. Finally, the breakfast here was fantastic. I was told I could park on the street as long as I was gone by 9:00 and I had a great space directly in front of the hotel. Loved my stay here and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserWe stopped here on our way back home from Spring Break. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and attentive. After getting settled in our room we went down to the pool. The hot tub was more like sitting in warm bath water and the water was murky. There is very limited seating for those not getting in the water. Our room seemed partially updated. The flooring was in poor shape. The area right inside the door is hard flooring and was incredibly sticky--like someone before us spilled a soda and wiped it up with napkins. The transition ***** to the carpet was loose and flopping around. The carpet seemed clean but looked old. The beds were newer and very comfortable but the pillows were very flat. We paid extra for breakfast to be included and were disappointed. We were in a hurry to get back on the road so opted for the buffet which was very limited. The scrambled eggs were luke warm and relatively tasteless. The only other warm options were hash browns (which we didn't try), bacon and sausage. The bacon and sausage were tasty. We had higher expectations for the hotel and the friendly staff and comfortable beds were about the only positives. We likely won't stay here again.

GGuest UserWe met at the Marriott for an 80th birthday celebration and family reunion. The rooms and suites were in pristine condition. The front desk staff was amazing and accommodating - Kaitie, Carly, Roman and Neema did an outstanding job. The breakfast and restaurant were very nice and we really appreciate our server Shannon each morning at breakfast.

GGuest UserI like to give good reviews. I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt on things. I will try and be balanced with this review. When I first walked in, I was greeted by the stench of cigarette smoke. Not a good start. The front desk clerk was not rude. He was cordial, but not overly friendly. Check in was smooth. I was not recognized as a Diamond Choice Rewards member. Not a huge deal, but other properties are good about that. No business center, but the clerk was very kind to make copies for me and did so quickly. On to the room. The positives - very spacious and a decent work area. The bed seemed clean and had no bed bugs - I checked. It was pretty easy to keep the room temperature consistent. Negatives - Hair in the tub. Need to do a better job. The carpet is ancient and showing lots of wear. There was peeling paint in the bathroom. Behind the entry door to the room was debris that looked to have been there for a long time. There were also ”interesting” characters hanging around the motel. I don't get intimidated, but I could see how some folks would. The motel is obviously in need of an upgrade to bring it up to Choice standards. It's just not there. I would probably stay again, but I would never allow my wife to stay there or even have her stay there with me. It's just not good enough. The place has potential, but it just isn't living up to high standards.

GGuest UserRed Roof Inn review below. worst hotel experience I have ever had! our first room had no air conditioning at all. we called the front desk because our tv wasn’t working either. he came up to fix the tv and said maybe he could find us a fan! (it was 94 degrees out). we left and came back and it was hotter in our room than outside. we were able to switch rooms so fine. the mattresses were aweful but at least it wasn’t 100 degrees. the next morning 3 different people came into our room without knocking wondering why we were there. I told them we had switched rooms and asked them to make sure it was noted we would be there the rest of the week. our keys stopped working so we had to go up and down and up to the 4th floor several times before they believed us and sent maintenance. he fixed the locks finally and next time we left and came back ALL of our stuff was thrown away in trash bags. my car keys were found in the bottom of a trash bag loose which took an hour to find. a manager came up and could clearly see I was upset and crying and left saying someone would come up that could translate to the housekeeper to locate missing items. no one ever came! we had gone to the nifty nuthouse that day to get a bunch of chocolates and candies and our food and chocolates were thrown away in a mixed bag of trash as the other rooms. we had delicate electronics just tossed in the bottom of trash bags. The entire hotel smelled like smoke and ****. And had to pay full price for the two horrific nights spent there! They didn’t compensate any of the lost items because I needed an itemized list and I had to spend hours at another hotel just going through trash bags trying to find everything. Not to mention I was told I was not allowed to go through the trash bag that was mixed with the other rooms.
