We loved our room: there was nothing missing. And the landscape in which the B&B is located. The owner were extraordinary friendly and politely. He has got a big old tractor exhibition and she likes to take care for her guests. The breakfast was very deliciously and a lot of offers for cerealies and beverages.

I have written this review twice already. But, for some reason when I went to add photos on the first two occasions, my review disappeared please look into this Tripadvisor. Because this was such a nice experience at the hotel, I have written this review now for the third time. We stayed at this hotel for two nights. There is a car park and an overflow car park across the road. We always found a parking space at the hotel. Check-in was friendly and efficient. We were allocated room 205. We really loved this room. It was full of natural light and character and even had a wee balcony, so beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows are soft, which is not my preference, but I brought a firm pillow with me, so no problem there. The bathroom was large and had nice toiletries. If I was being picky, the tiles in front of the bath need to be repaired but perhaps this has already been done by the time this review appears. Breakfast at the hotel is buffet style. I had added a note to our hotel reservation, to inform the kitchen that I have two allergies gluten and dairy. When we arrived for breakfast, the staff member, Ed, had a copy of this note. He informed me of this and took my order directly to the kitchen. This made my experience much easier and much more pleasant as I’m sure others with allergies will appreciate. The food quality was very good. Ed really looked after us and even anticipated needs. he was very friendly professional and efficient, a credit to the hotel. The second morning was pretty similar the additional staff looking after us were, Ling, Alex and a brunette lady, apologies that I did not catch her name. Again the staff were friendly and professional. we also had lunch at the hotel chicken wings and sides. Again the quality was very good and the wine was very generous. For this reason we decided to return to the hotel later that evening for drinks rather than to go somewhere local. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is great value for money and the staff are wonderful. We have already recommended Woodenbridge to family and friends and we will return again. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Looked around for a bit of value for a Saturday overnight within an Hour and a half from Dublin. Murphys came up as one of the best for value. Arrived around 3pm, check in was quick and easy, only one staff member on duty between the bar and check in but she managed fine. Rooms where clean bed was comfy and the water in the shower was hot. Had a couple of drinks in the bar before dinner, Prices where cheaper than most locals in Dublin so no complaints there. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the service was excellent. Quiet little village and perfect for a value for money relaxing short break.

A brilliantly designed hotel and spa, convenient to attractions, Brook Lodge was a refreshing stop on our driving trip through Ireland. The spa facilities were beautiful and immaculately maintained, the extensive grounds are beautiful and the atmosphere—designed to look and feel like an old-world spa— was conducive to a very relaxing stay. Breakfasts afforded a variety of choices in a spacious and airy setting. The service, too, was cheerful and attentive throughout the property. Highly recommended.
