The hotel has great spaces for hanging out, having drinks, and the restaurant food was better than I expected. The bar/restaurant staff were very kind and patient with our big group! The room we had was a very good size, plenty of room to spread out suitcases. We liked that it had a full length mirror and place to hang clothes. The bathroom was also spacious with a large shower and lots of counter space. It looked more modern and updated than the room itself. There's parking, for a cost, but it's convenient. The location is fine if you have a car or want to take the bus, which has a stop just across the street. The bed was huge and comfortable. It's also nice that there is a little shop to buy snacks, wine, waters, souvenirs, etc. We wished there a fridge in the room. It seemed some rooms had them and some didn't. There was plenty of room for one in ours. Not a huge deal though. Also there was no clothes iron anywhere on the property apparently. That would've been nice, but again, no big deal. The room was suffering a bit from wear. Nothing too bad, but some stains on the carpet, chips in the furniture, etc. Bedding was very clean though.

The AC will only run when you insert the room key first. So you might enter warm and sticky rooms since the windows open only a small slot. Positive is that the AC is seperately controlled for each room, the temperature are not preset by the hotel or limited to e.g. 20° and equally important blow even on the min. setting sufficiently strong to cool down the room unlike in many other hotel chains (e.g.NH). Most rooms during my stay were in a good condition, but some rooms need a fix up. The worst are those rooms with worn out mattresses, when I wake up in the middle of the night with back pains. Today’s room however tops it all since I noticed left to my pillow the label “Foot End”. Whoever designed the bathroom never took a shower in his design, because even being very careful holding the shower head in the hand and away from the open cabin end, was I able to keep the passage dry, when you leave the shower head in the fixture the complete passage is wet. A cheap wiper to dry the passage would help, since towels are for drying yourself and not the floor. Depending on which side your room faces you might hear guests talking and laughing outside. If you don’t park directly in front of the entrance you have to lift your trolley and carry on over several steps, when you park at the side.

The Nassauer Hof has always been my favorite hotel in Wiesbaden. I have stayed there many times over the past 14 years; however, I have not been to Wiesbaden since the pandemic. When I got to the hotel, they had no record of me being a prior guest. They told me that their system was updated and that all older customers had been dropped off if there had been no stay in 2-3 years. When I would come in previously, I would always be greeted by name and receive an automatic room upgrade; this time, it showed as a first visit. My room was warm when I arrived. I put the air conditioning up, and I thought it cooled down. But it was still warm. I was at the property for three nights. Finally, on the third night, I couldn't take it anymore and called down to the front desk. A housekeeping staff member came in and could tell it wasn't working; she reported to Frau Lopez, who came and said to me that It was not working and that they could transfer my room.I was still trying to figure out how they could do that, as the hotel could not give me the extra third night at the front desk, and I had to book the third night on the hotel's website (not a partner website). I was very hesitant, but she and Jannis Bamberg made it seamless. Jannis brought my bags packed to the storage area so that I could take only one bag to the checkout in the morning. The room was not comparable to the one I was in, but it was cooler. There was a smell of old smoke. My real question is why a housekeeping staff member did not notice this and report it to the front desk. Instead, I noticed they turned the thermostat to max. Frau Lopez said that would never work as it can only reach a specific temperature. Perhaps, some training needs to be done. On a positive note, the spa at Nassauer Hof was as delightful as always, maintaining its high standards and providing a relaxing experience. One issue that needs attention is the bees, which seemed to be out of control during my stay. They were particularly aggressive around the outdoor areas and even found their way inside the breakfast area. I suggested placing small fans on the tables to deter them, and I hope this advice will be considered. The entire experience could have been better, and it's time to update the bed linens; they have been the same for at least 14 years.

Hotel clean and spacious for European hotels. However. No Parking on site. Have to walk to park. Staff not that friendly, even when they want to help they do not speak English. Not even a bell man to help with baggage. So if someone need assistance with baggage then he is stuck. Good location in down town. My advice they need to work on employee with their willingness to help and smile at least.

We had googled our way to the fact that the Hilton Mainz has a very good location right down to the Rhine and you can purchase access to the hotel's ”Executive Lounge”. We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were quickly and efficiently checked in by Mrs. Blanco Flores, who upgraded us to a room with a view of the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

The location near the main train station and the close proximity to the city center makes our Holiday Inn - the niu, Mood Mainz the ideal starting point for activities in the city. In the meantime you can leave your car (for a fee) in the hotel parking lot or in the underground garage. The hub for everyone is our open lobby: cozy sitting area with newspapers, 24-hour reception and 24-hour bar, co-working space - it's all in one and we welcome you warmly. In the morning breakfast is served from the buffet of course, so that everyone can start the day the way he or she likes it best. In the evening we recommend relaxing in the hotel's sauna.99 of our 279 rooms aree equipped with their own pantry with microwave, refrigerator and sink. Here you are independent - practical with small children or if you are staying longer in Mainz. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with safe, soundproof windows that can be opened, flat-screen TV with Bluetooth box and screen mirroring. High-speed WiFi is available throughout the property free of charge. We are happy to set up an extra bed or baby crib. The hotel has plenty of promise but it didn't really meet my expectations I chose the hotel specifically for its underground parking as it's quite some way out of the city centre, and so not somewhere I'd recommend if you didn't have car. When I got there I was told the underground parking was closed for maintenance, and I could park on the street, which at that time of day was impossible. It was only when I pushed the issue they said I could park in the little open air car park at the rear, which was still 15 EUR per day. The room they allocated me had a loud whining noise coming from the bathroom, and would have prevented me sleeping, and when I went to ask for a new room they didn't seem to believe me but then took ages to allocate me a new room. No idea why. One of the nice features of the hotel is if you choose to not have your room cleaned you get a token for a free drink at the bar. The first time I went to claim my drink the bar was closed as they were checking in lots of people, so can only assume were short staffed. The next night there seemed to be a single girl manning both the bar and the front desk and she couldn't cope (not her fault) so I just gave my token to a random guy as I wasn't prepared to wait so long for a free beer. On the positive side they were really helpful when I was stupid enough to drop a bottle of beer in the car park when unpacking my car, and they cleaned it up for me without any fuss. I would recommend staying as close to the centre of the hotel as I was at the far end (315) and the WiFi was very poor, and so had to tether my laptop to my phone. One really nice touch was the room had a bluetooth soundbar so you could play your music on your phone in the room. This was a really nice touch. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I probably would not stay there again, and definitely not if I didn't have a car.

The hotel is located next to the high speed, Google Maps navigation is accurate, self-driving is convenient, about ten kilometers to the airport, only 15 minutes. The hotel is listed 4🌟, the room is small, the box can be opened at the door, there is a capsule coffee machine and capsule in the room, breakfast is rich, parking is free. The last night of driving to Flange Airport is recommended and the price is very high. The hotel also provides shuttle buses to the airport, but charges are charged.

TTrek174390424642023.06.16
This is just an outstanding place, with many quirks but they add to the charme - it's a 19th century chateau right by the Rhine (not on the levee; nothing is, the Rhine can be fierce), and it is very much a boutique chateau hotel. The place is famous as a two-star Michelin restaurant, but we went Monday-Wednesday when it's closed (but you can still get wine on the terrace etc.), which meant much more quietude, and it was great. Key for the experience was that we had the Tower Suite, their prime room, which has historical value - the German Constitution was discussed here shortly after WWII by the key party leaders. The bathroom is fine, the bedroom a bit low-ceilinged and dark, but the actual Tower Suite is great. It's a real space. Some constructive criticism: It's a consciously non-hip historical property, but in 2023, I think a Nespresso machine or at least a kettle is a must. In this suite, there shouldn't be random books, but at least a copy of the Constitution and a picture of Adenauer, Heuss and Carlo Schmid. To have the jacuzzi not work and not tell this in advance is so-so. And for a 400+ suite, I would as usual throw the breakfast in... But we really liked the wine selection (and the free carafe in the room); parking is great; and the staff was truly friendly and courteous. There is no elevator; the speed road goes right by between river and house (but that is the Hessian politicians' fault); and there is no pool or gym. But that one knows in advance and it's not a problem. So altogether, a very strong recommendation, especially for that suite. It's a significant, truly charming, almost otherworldly place, and if you like this - and in one of the loveliest regions of Germany - it's just a fantastic place.

Fabulous stay - the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and cozy, and the location is excellent. We stayed one night each in our own single rooms (which had double beds!) after arriving to Frankfurt from the U.S. on our way to Northern Germany.
GGuest UserGreat food and a careful, friendly, authentic sevice. We had thun tatar, the Dorade with truffles, mixed fish dishes and to the night table Tartufo .... everything was at the point and totally delicious. The tartufo is somehow a family recipe and the absolute hamper .... you must try! Delightful wine with good and friendly advice there was also. Even the espresso was particularly delicious. We were totally happy, around satisfied, the Pescaletta Wiesbaden has given us a very great evening and we will surely come back.
GGuest UserLocated right by Market Plaza; Close to everything; especially Kurs Park which is like NY Central Park. The hotel has a policy of every other day for housekeeping but you could request everyday as needed. The hotel is a bit dated. The bathroom is small and poor designed. The bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo) are low quality. Please bring your own. Towels are worn out. The restaurant is good. Breakfast is tasty but very limited options. Staff are super friendly. Housekeeping is bad. I had a trash bag that they didn't collect for days. Shampoo, body wash are running out but never got replaced. This was before I decided to get my own since their products made my skin dry and itchy. They forgot to replenish water or the minibar as required for Privilege Room.
I would like to give it 4 points, but the title ”very good” just doesn't fit. The service was so-so and to be honest, the room just wasn't clean. The shelf in the shower was really dirty and there were hairs in the drain after the first shower. The hairdryer was also broken. I would have liked to have said that when I checked out, but no one was there. Unfortunately, I don't understand friendly and good service to mean anything else. The carpets on the stairs and in the hallways are in urgent need of replacement. Maybe with something friendlier. There are no windows in the hallways, which makes it quite dark. Aside from the cleanliness, the room was really nice. The space was used well and creatively. It was great that there was an espresso machine in the room, a telephone and even a radio. Ultimately, however, cleanliness would have been more important to me.
GGuest UserAfter there were technical problems in the hotel ”Small Hotel” booked by us, we were called and offered the transfer to the Hotel de France on the same conditions. The hotel is super, the staff was very friendly. The air conditioner in the room was not so effective now, but in the night an open window was enough for pleasant temperatures. We took a delicious tin to us in the afternoon, also breakfast was good.
First of all this hotel is in a great location. Within walking distance to most places and close to bus stops that will take you in and around the city. Rooms are fairly modern looking but small and quite basic - no kettles, no minibar/fridge, poor pillows (bed however is very comfy despite the pillows). We had one single room which what you’d expect from a single room, small room and very small bathroom. We also had one double room which was just about big enough to fit a bed in. The hotel from the outside is a complete eyesore and looks like a run down shopping centre, however the lobby is quite nice and the rooms albeit basic have been fairly recently renovated. Unfortunately the hotel corridors and outside of the building clearly haven’t been touched. Wifi in the rooms is poor, there is never a full signal and it randomly drops in and out. If, like us, there were very little other hotel options for your visit then you can’t go wrong here. If you do have other options then go for them. You’ll be hard pressed to find a better location though.
OOliver GThis hotel is located just next to the Wiesbaden-Biebrich Castle Park. My wife and I have been on the bike. For the night we have been offered a safe deep garage parking space for free. The rooms may not be the last cry, but also not habituated. All in all high standard and clean. Breakfast buffet, rhetoric was served at the table. Of course everything is hygienic, with mask and distance. I would recommend the house.
I've read some of the previous reviews and they made me think. This hotel isn't pretending to be the Ritz. It is a classic German 3 star hotel and way up on the scale. The room was clean, beds extremely comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond. As for the location, yes it may seem intimidating, but welcome to a 21st century European city. There is nothing intimidating, just people having a good time. There are a trillion restaurants within walking distance catering for every taste. Would I stay there again? Definitely.
GGuest UserHotel clean, staff friendly, location good. Rooms small, bathroom even smaller. Matches good and firm. Water cooker (powdered and calcified) with tea and coffee free. Rooms to the rhine with balcony. Sounds like a good idea, in the heat is in fact a disaster: the sun blows into air conditioning there is no rooms are 30 degrees and more. Open windows mean the feeling to be located next to a frequently driven street incl. exhaust odour. Hotel has winter bed covers on the rooms. Ventilator only on request (also dust). I think such rooms are not to be rented for the price in summer.
