Amazing stay at Shan C, my only regret is not staying for longer! Ken and Belinda were wonderful hosts, meeting us on arrival and giving us a good walkthrough of all there was to offer on the property, as well as nearby amenities and restaurants. The room was especially comfortable, and sweetened with the amazing view of the private beach and ocean right from our porch. Bonus points for providing a pair of binoculars to spot any passing whales or dolphins. In room amenities were fully provided - soft drinks, coffee, tea, water, biscuits - and the bathroom was well stocked with essentials too. We felt safe throughout our entire stay too, and can’t wait to be back again!

Ken and Belinda are fantastic hosts. They’re so personal and caring! Everything has been thought of, from locations of hangers to fully stocked bar in the common area near the slightly heated pool.

Simply perfect. Everything about Shan C is high spec, high class. Wonderful room and view, great pool and loungers, chairs and umbrellas for the beach.
Of course Ken and Belinda are amazing hosts and we will definitely be returning!

The stay was wonderful,could not be faulted Ken and Belinda are superb hosts and make sure you feel welcome.Belinda’s attention to detail is astonishing from fixtures and fittings to the pool area/garden.The view from the property is one of the most relaxing I’ve ever had. You must stay here.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights. Ken and Belinda were incredible hosts. They truly embody the hospitality spirit and treated us like family members. The property was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were also fortunate to see dolphins from our room (which gives you a sense of how close we were to the beach). Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

The location of the Guesthouse Shan C is exceptionally beautiful: located directly on the Duine. From the room or the garden terrace we had a fantastic view of the wide beach and the Indian Ocean. Room No. 1 was significantly smaller, quite low, less luxurious and modern than the photo on the homepage suggests. The hosts Ken and Belinda were very friendly and attentive and provided us with small gifts such as cold drinks, chocolates and sherry in our room. The bathroom is modern and sufficiently large. The terrace belonging to the room is equipped with lounge chairs, a small table and two chairs. Ken even brought us loungers from the pool area to the ocean side. The stay was nice, but next time we would prefer a newer, more modern accommodation on the dune that also offers breakfast.
