The Jolly Roger Motel

Wonderful nostalgic hotel. Late September rates were very fair and we had a great time. Poolside rooms are wonderful and offer easy access to the pool and lobby. Owners were great with local recommendations and fun things to do. Also think it’s awesome that they’re pet friendly!

Very nice family owned place, Welcoming, pool was wonderful clean and relaxing. Hotel is very close to beach/easy to get to. I am a repeat customer. Room was nicely set up and clean, good recommendations on where to eat. We would definitely recommend.

The owners and staff here made us feel like family again on our third visit here. The room was spotless as always, the pool was sparkling and heated as always, and the food at Antney’s is our favorite. Kudos, keep doing what you’re doing, and we will be back year after year.

THE BEST IN THE CREST! Nobody does it better than the Tenaglia's. The rooms are clean, spacious, and bright. Being that they are pet friendly is a major plus because we can bring our pup so he can enjoy a vacation too. We have been staying here for over 20 years and will never stay anywhere else. Their professionalism is like no other. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

My Family and I LOVED staying here. We stayed at another location for 20 Years and unfortunately they priced themselves out of our Comfort level. That being said, I'm glad we found Jolly Roger. From the first phone call to reserve, to checking in, to staying there, using their facilities, interaction with the owners, and staff, I give an A+++++ Rating. Everyone was Welcoming, Caring. And Kind. We were in one of the Efficiency rooms, and it worked for us. I can't say enough about how nice it was to stay there. They truly care about their Customers.

We stayed from Tuesday to Friday. The staff was great and very friendly. We brought our little Shitzu Bella and they had a little treat in the room for us for her. The room was a smidge dirty. The floors were filthy. I actually had the maid come and clean the floors because my feet were black just from walking in the room. They did clean the floors after I requested them to be cleaned. The pool was great. The only down side were the steps to get to our second floor room. Carrying all our stuff up a flight was annoying, but we managed.

I started going to the Jolly Roger approximately 30 years ago. I’ve tried a few other places occasionally, but I always go back! I always check there first to see if they have availability when I want to go down. The rooms are extremely clean and the cleaning staff are quick and efficient. The building is only three stories tall, so the pool is in the sun all day Long. You could bring your family pet into any of the rooms and the complementary coffee is delicious. Most importantly, the owners and staff make you feel like family. They’re warm and welcoming, and if you have any problems, they’re quick to fix it!

We have bee visiting Wildwood Crest for the past 7 years and we always stay at the Jolly Roger. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are very clean, and very close to the beach! But the main reason we always stay at the Jolly Roger is their pool!!! It’s huge, clean, and a lot of lounge chairs!!

We have been coming to the Jolly Roger with our kids and friends for a few years now and cannot say enough good things about this place!!! We would NEVER stay anywhere else. First and foremost, the owners, Joe and Vince, are truly special people. They make you feel at home, like you are family- and that is not just a line. Wildwood is a community and the Jolly Roger makes you feel a part of it. It's a special place that o be fully described in words. The entire staff is warm and welcoming- my kids go down and sit with them just to talk sometimes! It is very family friendly and they think of all your needs. They have a restaurant on site, Antney's grub, which serves phenomenal food- as well as state of the art grills (which are kept immaculate) so you do need to leave the pool if you don't want to. They do movie night by the pool every Thursday, which is such a blast and lets the kids swim late (adults too)! They place has the ultimate beach vibe, with a fun pirate theme. The rooms are modern, clean and have fun décor. The pool is always perfectly heated and the lounge chairs are ultra-comfy. They recently did some upgrades (not that they needed to) and we took full advantage of the new pickleball courts! As beautiful as the place is, it really is about the people. They have created an intimate, cozy vibe that you will not find anywhere else. They KNOW you, they remember you, they welcome you- they CARE! The Jolly Roger IS Wildwood. Worth every penny
