Overall, my family's stay at the Griffin Hotel was excellent. Although it was a bit more expense than some of the other hotels I looked at in the area, the price we paid was well worth it. The hotel grounds were incredible, hotel staff was polite, courteous, and very helpful. Our room was large, spacious, and beds were excellent. I would highly recommend the Griffin Hotel.

We liked the spacious room with the separated area for the bathroom, as well as the spacious balcony. The location was convenient for sightseeing in Colonial Williamsburg, as everything was within walking distance. The room had a strong perfume-y smell when you first enter but we adjusted to it fairly quickly so it was not a problem. Although I agree with other reviews that it could use some updating, we enjoyed our stay. The service at the centralized Williamsburg Inn was excellent!

We love staying at The Griffin. It's spacious, clean, and comfortable. Plus, it's in walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg.

The wooded setting and large shaded terrace are a welcome refuge after busy days of sightseeing. Location is within one block of Colonial Williamsburg. Room is fresh and clean (though slightly dated), staff is attentive to guest experience. Perfect location and great value for the $.

The overall property is really beautiful. However, The Griffin Hotel needs some major renovations particularly in the bathrooms as the paint is peeling from the ceiling and it is quite outdated.

Came here for a honeymoon trip and we loved it! We have never been to this are before other than to visit Busch Gardens in the past but we will be back to Colonial Williamsburg resorts again.

Big, nice room with a pretty view. Nice helpful cleaning staff.
One sink, stopper did not work. Tub stopper replaced with one requiring guest to lean down and open with finger. Mismatched uncomfortable furniture. Place in need of interior update - improvement.
