The area has breweries, colorful art, restaurants and walking areas. The French Broad River's water is very muddy and can not swim. This area of Asheville is a good place to visit with a special character.

Die Chalets sind toll gelegen, ruhig und in Nähe vieler Attraktionen. Das Chalet Hemlock möchte ich besonders empfehlen. Am besten über deren Webseite buchen oder anrufen, dann gibt's die besten Konditionen.

Due to an impending winter storm, I decided to book a last minute stay at The Wilderness Inn rather than risking travel on bad roads. I needed a location close to Lake Placid with a full kitchen and this fit the bill!
The cabin was absolutely perfect. Spacious and cozy with every amenity I needed for the few days I was there. The kitchen was stocked with various pots and pans, cooking utensils, sponge, soap, paper towels, etc. Small appliances such as a Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and microwave were also included.
The gas fireplace insert was a great touch and made working from "home" 1000x better.
Would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be back for future work trips!

The place is super cozy and perfect for our family trip with kids. The communication was fast and a staff member was always on site.
It’s very close to whiteface mountain and good restaurants in Wilmington. It’s also a quick drive to lake placid . Definitely would love to come back!
