The Pembroke Arms

I couldn’t face a soulless hotel and this place delighted me from the start! Friendly people, fresh brownies and milk on arrival, lovely room and wonderful food- I plan to return! Loved the woke, hipster vibe! Not at all pretentious tho. Will try the pizza next time! Lovely.

A charming hotel/pub/restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food in the restaurant was great. Breakfast was also delicious. It was my birthday and I was given a glass of prosecco and a brownie with whipped cream and candles for dessert. A lovely touch. There is a nice big garden area, and they even provide blankets and hats in case you're cold. The common areas in the hotel are very comfortable with couches and armchairs and a log fire in one of the rooms. I am giving four stars because we had a great time but be aware that the room is more basic than the price suggests (£158 for the night for a twin room, ensuite): no fridge, no safe, no wardrobe, although hangers and hooks are provided to hang clothes. The beds are very comfortable with wonderfully soft and warm duvets and pillows. There was good quality tea and coffee making facilities in the room, and the toiletries were also good quality. On the whole, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Just a one night stay but everything was lovely. Staff was over the top helpful and room was perfect. Would book again if ever in the area. Location was good, situated in a beautiful and peaceful area. Short drive to nearby attractions. Had both breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and both were delicious.

Great place with a fun young vibe. Great location for visiting Salisbury and Stonehenge. Inn has lots of character and great service at Inn and restaurant. Included breakfast is top notch. Would definitely come back if in the area. ....................

Stayed here 1 night after visiting Stonehenge. Lovely hotel with a kings-and-knights feel to it. Stayed in a room at the front, room has tendency to get warm but has an airco and earplugs :-) Restaurant, beer-/wine/cocktail garden with it, so a pleasant stay. Breakfast is partly buffet (best croissant I ever had) partly to be ordered. True money for what you get. Won' t mind to stay again, if I'm in the neighbourhood again!

Wonderful ambience, friendly and extremely helpful staff, great food, the rooms were luxurious yet cosy, very pleasantly surprised by welcoming refreshments (bottle of cold milk and homemade brownies), highly recommended, close by Wilton House worth a visit, Stonehenge just 15 min. ride away.

Hotel full of character,Could not fault the bedroom/bathroom facilities. All members of staff were welcoming ,polite and very efficient. A very well run hotel.Location was ideal for visiting Salisbury and touring the New Forest. More than adequate car parking.

Spent a great weekend at the Pembroke Arms. It’s set in an ideal location to visit Salisbury, Stonehenge and other historic sites in the area. We stayed in comfortable rooms and enjoyed delicious breakfasts and evening meals. The staff were all very friendly and attentive and helped to make this a memorable weekend. We would stay here again and highly recommend it.
