Lovely little B&B, instructions when arrive to collect keys etc simple…..we stayed in Diggery delvet room, it was a little apartment with living area, bedroom and bathroom, lovely little place, hair dryer, towels, shower, board games, tv, Netflix, tea/coffee etc all found in the room. Area was lovely little village type with bars, pubs, restaurants, shops A* + Short walk to the lake where you can find more restaurants/pubs etc plenty to eat, boat cruise to Ambleside, buses run a lot if you want to go to Ambleside/grassmere or down towards the lake. Plenty of toilet options in Windermere through pubs etc or public for 50p charge. Queyside restaurant was our fave over looking the lake, Debbie made us feel welcome and asked if anything we needed each day we stayed. Quiet area, parking with permit (from B&B) in certain streets was no hassle. Lovely place to stay would definitely recommend 5/5 *****

Would highly recommend this beautiful guesthouse in a fantastic location. We went with our dog and found the room to be nice and quiet, clean, and cosy. The location couldn’t of been better. A lovely park just around the corner which was ideal for the dog. Walking distance to the bars and restaurants. Twenty minute walk to lake Windermere or you can get the local 599 bus. We had a lovely boat trip from lake Windermere over to Ambleside. Lots of lovely places nearby.

Lovely little bnb in windemere for a 2 night stay Room cosy and spotless with nice little touch of fresh milk in fridge. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there was a " doggy box " in the room which was another nice surprise. I was a bit apprehensive about parking but the permit parking allowed us to park on the next street and we had to no problem getting parked up either day. Location is perfect right on the high street abd for walking into Bowness at night too ( 20min walk ) All in all a great stay and very reasonably priced for the lakes !

We stayed last weekend, first time visiting the lakes. Our room was great and everything that we needed, with lots of little extras available, bed was comfy en suite more than suitable. Was nice to have a separate room. Great location and good price. Would recommend.

I had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Cambridge House guest house in Windermere, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The location is nothing short of perfection, and the charm exuded by the guest house is truly captivating.
