Apart from the convenient location, there are no advantages. I met other guests at the door and they said that booking will send a check-in code, but Ctrip did not. I called the hotel three times to find out, but the attitude was average. The first two times, they hung up on me for no reason.

This small hotel is close to the train station bus, and there is a tavern next to it, which is very convenient. It is on the second floor, the room is not big, but the facilities are complete and very clean. Be careful when booking this hotel. There is no front desk, and check-in depends entirely on phone calls, which is similar to the underground party. I took a shower for 10 minutes in the middle of the night and there was no hot water. I was embarrassed to call with a head full of shampoo. Very last min booking. 8pm.
Price was good.
Entrance was through digital key pads, which was sent via text message.
Room 9 has no windows, just 2 skylights with electric blinds which are out of reach.
There was no easy way of opening these as no stick was provided.
There is also no AC, so the room was very stuffy and a little claustrophobic.
With a bit of ingenuity, we did manage to get the skylights open and allow fresh air in.
The room itself, has been very simply done, but its all you need. All freshly decorated.
Could not get the TV to work, but was not that bothered.
Nice bed, shower, loo and an office desk.
Great location for the village of Windermere.
We would use it again, but insist on having something to open up the skylights.

Room was very clean & supplied all essentials. Located right in the town so walkable to all amenities. Very pretty village. Would definitely recommend & visit again.

Station Lodge was clean, comfortable and bright. The heating was good and there were two sky light windows in our attic room. The shower was great, there was coffee and tea making facilities in the room and a hair dryer. It was comfortable and the bed was good. The room was very reasonably priced. It was situated in the centre of Windermere very near to a quirky bar (Crafty Baa). The room was accessed using a key pad, we found the key pad to be a bit temperamental, so you need to be patient and try it a few times. We would definitely stay there again.
