Auas Safari Lodge is een mooie Lodge om te bezoeken aan het begin of einde van je Namibië rondreis. Het ligt op zo’n drie kwartier van de luchthaven en heeft beschikt over een groot gamepark. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam! Het eten is heerlijk en de kamers / badkamer zijn erg schoon en heel ruim! De game drives ( ochtend en sundown) zijn goed georganiseerd ( luxe open 4x4 !) en Auas beschikt over professionele gidsen! Voor wie Windhoek te druk vind ( daar hebben ook niet veel te zoeken) is Auas een mooie start of afronding van dit prachtige land!

We spent here one night after arrival in Windhoek. Nice place, great intro to our holiday in Namibia. Lots of animals at waterhole, bar service, good dinner, clean rooms. Kids used pool though it was cold. We would choose this place again for another holiday.

Absolutely nothing wrong with Auas Safari Lodge, clean, friendly, good rooms, food very good and location/view is very pleasant. Assuming most visitors will be staying here their first or last night, it was our last, It is a little bit further out of Windhoek than we would have liked. It takes around 45 minutes and is 22km down a gravel road. Staff were great, very engaging and helpful and prices were very reasonable. Good place for that first or last night in Namibia.

Mooi gelegen lodge, waar vandaan mooie wandelingen te maken waarbij allerlei antilopen te zien zijn waaronder gemsbokken, springbokken, koedoe’s. De eerste lodge op onze reis door Namibië en Botswana waar prachtige Afrikaanse kunst aan de muren hing (litho’s) en er Afrikaanse muziek in de bar gedraaid werd. En natuurlijk vriendelijke personeel en heerlijk eten. Echt een aanrader.

We liked our stay at Auas Lodge. The lodge is nice but quite simple. Staff was really friendly!! The room is a little bit dark but clean. Food was good but dinner could be a little more (especially the main course). Lodge needs some renovations works e.g. toilette near the pool. The nature around the lodge is beautiful and it’s a good start or end for the Namibia vacation.

1ere étape de notre Road trip namibien! Pas trop loin de windhoek. Accueil très chaleureux et chambre parfaite. Petit point d’eau avec impalas. Dîner et repas très bon. Personnel au petit soin san d’être intrusif. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

This lodge is ideal for the beginning or end of a tour of Namibia. The welcome here at the Auas Safari Lodge was very warm, every employee was friendly and attentive to the guests. Since I was somewhat limited in my ability to walk, they were immediately willing to give me a room close to the pool and restaurant, thank you very much for that. The room is large and spacious, even equipped with a fireplace for colder days. Only the bathroom is a bit narrow and a bit awkward. Showering is only possible in a very high and narrow bathtub. When you sit on the toilet you hit the bathtub. A bit inconvenient. But the friendly staff makes up for it with their friendliness and makes the stay very pleasant. We would love to spend a few days here again at any time

J'ai passé ma dernière nuit dans ce lodge charmant avant de prendre mon vol de retour. Ambiance sympa et chambre confortable. On vous allume votre cheminée qui se trouve dans votre chambre pendant la saison d'hiver. Ainsi en rentrant dans votre chambre après le repas du soir, il fait bon chaud. Cuisine et petit-déjeuner tout à fait honnêtes. Dans le jardin, on peut admirer devant le trou d'eau différents animaux qui viennent s'abreuver. Je recommande cet endroit.
