Hilton Garden Inn Windhoek Reviews

We liked the King Room (Accessible) which had a bathtub and a working refrigerator and heater but mistakenly reserved the regular King Room on the trip back which had no heat or working refrigerator, but we made do for a couple of days. The Hilton Garden Inn is less expensive than the regular Hilton next door so some inconveniences should be expected when staying here. The Hilton Garden Inn did allow me to use the fully equipped fitness center at the regular Hilton since theirs wasn't functioning. The hotel shuttle to the airport was a bit pricey and we ended up using our own transportation to/from the Windhoek airport. Overall, it could have been better.

Best location to explore Windhoek. It is a good location for going to several tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and greeted me with a smile, which gave me a better impression of Namibia. The dream I saw outside the window was the best.

Excellent hotel! All standards are met and there is nothing to complain about. Located in the very center of Windhoek, you won’t need a taxi to the attractions at all, everything is within walking distance. I also walked from the bus terminal. Impeccable sound insulation, silence and nothing interferes with your rest. Everything in the hotel is new and fresh. The bed is comfortable, there are many pillows of different sizes to choose from. There is tea, coffee and drinking water in the room. Breakfast is beyond praise, huge selection and 100% freshness. At first I wanted to give up breakfast, but then I didn’t regret paying extra! Outdoor terrace pool, sun loungers and big fluffy towels! Simply great! In general, if the price category of the hotel suits you, then feel free to book, you will not be disappointed! I recommend!

Windhoek is not big. You can visit the whole city in more than an hour on foot. The hotel is very conveniently located next to the National Museum, Parliament Building and the most famous Education Hall. The environment is elegant, clean and tidy, the service is thoughtful, the breakfast is also good, and there are many cafes and restaurants around.

There are two Hilton hotels next to each other. From one lobby to the other lobby it takes 1 minute walking. The hotel is new. The rooms are spacious. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has good water pressure. Wi-Fi reception is very good. The pool is located on the first floor. The gym is closed, but they give you the option of using the other Hilton's gym. Breakfast is basic: Tea, coffee, eggs, sausages, fruit and breads. I wrote to the hotel to ask if they had gluten-free options and they replied yes. When we arrived they had no gluten free options. On the last day of my stay they went to the other Hilton and brought me some gluten-free bread. The location of the hotel is good, steps from one of the main streets with shopping centers and restaurants, the German church, the Building that North Korea built in Windohek and some cafes. The rooms are soundproof, which makes it very quiet and you sleep very well. The photos that appear on Trip.com should be updated, since several correspond to the other Hilton Hotel. I originally thought this was a new hotel, but there were a lot of problems. The pedals of the trash can were broken. There were mosquitoes on the water surface of the swimming pool. The hot water was only slightly warmer than cold water. The scariest thing was that the mouthwash cup had some toothpaste in it. Good luck. To no avail. No major hotel group has ever seen anything like this.

I booked this hotel last night. The service attitude was extremely poor. There was no internet connection yet. I asked to check out but was not given a refund. I hope all old friends will not stay in this hotel.

It was so clean and nice. I think this is the best hotel in Windhoek. If I get a chance to visit again, I would like to.

New hotel, everything is good, the view is also good.

It's clean and tidy, and it's even better to have a free bus to the airport.

The customer service was amazing. Theresha and her team were very helpful and friendly throughput my stay. I had a wonderful experience.. Great experience I will recommend to everyone to stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
