We stayed off site as we couldn't justify the cost of a stay but did visit for 2 days. We've been many times before but felt that this visit had too many people in. We are huge Lego fans and theme park enthusiasts, having been to Billund last August, the difference to compare was that Windsor has top many guests for its ride availability which leads to long queues and unhappy guests. Albeit, there are lots of fantastic opportunities for building, watching shows, playing and exploring- these are filler activities and most people want rides. Drench towers was a huge highlight for our boys but the water was very cold, it would be a big improvement if it was a bit warmer. There was a lot of litter around Splash Safari which made the area look scruffy and the litter picking staff were stood gossiping for at least 15 minutes that we were there whilst the floors were filthy. We managed to do well with rides and planned our day around early and late rides and managed our expectations but not all families do this and its a big shame you have to pay for the extra experience of quicker ride times when families have already paid alot to visit especially as there are fewer 2 for 1 deals available freely now. Miniland in some areas needs some TLC and freshening up, we couldn't see Denmark at all which is surprising given the companies home and iconic status. We did ask and a member of staff said it was near America but we didn't see it. Minifigure speedway was our favourite ride, having managed it 3 times in 2 days. The longest we queued for it was 35 mins at the end of the day. It is well worth going on and enjoying the new attraction. The park does need some more rides to broaden availability but manage its capacity and not just keep selling tickets to maximise profit rather than people. We had a great time because we knew what to do and where to go but I can't say that any staff jumped out to overly impress me or make us feel Lego magic. My biggest criticism was the car park, there genuinely were not enough signs reminding people to buy a ticket to exit. The queue from the barrier was over an hour due to cars having to download the app and then buy their token. We spoke to Callum and Ben, who were on the exit gate each day and they said that's why it was the hold up not sheer weight of traffic which was the case as we flew out the park once through the barrier. Please put up more signs and reminders as you exit, on the pathway, in the queue, hanging banners - people needed reminding and it just was frustrating for those of us who had already paid the amount. We enjoyed our visit and would return but would use another time of year and will wait for more attractions for age 8-11 year olds.

It’s a difficult review. We knew the Woodland Lodge price when we booked it and accepted it was overpriced but for a special 5th birthday, that was perfectly fine. The woodland lodge was great, clean, plenty of room, puzzle for Lego was a hit as were the parks and abundance of little Lego figures. The issues in the village were with the disjoined park/hotel/table booking systems. The email codes are not clear, as such, it meant longer waits and confusion. I’m quite tech savvy but still, this was very mixed up. Get it all on one app! Another issue was The Clubhouse. We left our table to go to the entertainment for around 10 minutes, upon leaving I told the host and waitress of the area. We came back to someone else been seated. We sat elsewhere, no issue. After an hour wait, our food had no arrived? Ok this happens, but in that time no one checked us? As such, after over an hour we ate. This was complimented at the payment - we don’t want compliments, we wanted a special meal for our birthday. Evening entertainment was short, around 15 minutes before 45 minutes until the next ‘show.’ The host noticed this saying ‘ops we’ve finished early.’ No initiative, just went backstage. The following morning, we were seated surrounding by dirty tables. A theme here. Whilst I appreciate high times and busy periods, waiters were clearly standing around and walking past on the way back to the kitchen, take empties with you! Anyway, after being seated for breakfast, no one came to take our order. We had continental and left. The Clubhouse felt like a cattle market. Poor. Onto the park, Day 1 we done no rides. Qs were from 40-60+ minutes. No can do with a 2&5 YO. 2nd day (Sunday) we were at the gate 10:00 prompt and managed to get around 7 rides in and shows too! Great! Overall, I feel the park requires some love as some areas seemed dated. Poor choice of food, I.e all fast food. It’s overpriced, but that’s expected so prepare beforehand if you’re not willing to pay - same with drinks. Toddler drinks, so bring some along. I feel this is a fair view.

Stayed at the woodland lodges , although very over priced at £655 for 2 nights the kids loved it which made it worth it . Quite small but very clean . Kids loved the lego animals on trail to the lodge to . Woodland clubhouse was spotless and nice staff but way over priced . 2 cokes and 2 capri sun was £17 and no way was paying £7.50 for a beer . Breakfast was adequate but small only one of everything so had to fill up on cereal. Don't get the negativity around the park it's not run down at all and the kids got to go on every single ride that they wanted to . Longest que was 30 minutes . Only gripe was the price of food etc really no need to rip people off . But the kids loved so much we will be making the woodland lodge a annual thing.

Had 2 day tickets and stop over in the woodland village. We travelled 3 hours me and my 5YO. I couldn’t believe the queues even for the smallest rides. I thought maybe the Sunday was bad just because of the weekend but sadly Monday (out of the school hol) was the same. After the first hour of the park opening everything was 45 mins plus. Even the toddler rides. Appreciate there is a fast pass option but sadly out of our price range. I can only guess they over book to make profit as the amount of people was ridiculous and sadly made it unenjoyable. My daughter is not a thrill seeker and yet still we only managed around 4 rides each day. Woodland village check in was awful. They say you can check in from 4. We get there 3.55 and are told by the girl on the desk (as we’re all the other people filling the lobby to check in) we had to wait until 4pm bang on to receive a text message to get a QR code. There is then 4 machines to use to check in…. Yet the lobby was full of multiple families. 4pm came, none of us got text messages. The girls did some sort of thing on the computer and after another ten mins they said we’d get a text now … again nothing happened. So they then started checking us in manually which took seconds …. Yet they refused to do this before. Got to the room and our key wasn’t activated. Not ideal with a 5 year old and suitcases in tow to walk all the way back and join the queue yet again. Felt sorry for the poor girls on reception, they were lovely and we’re having to sort out another process done by computers . Dinner in the clubhouse was lovely, very overpriced but a nice experience. Sadly there was no entertainment at 5.30 as promised. Breakfast - fast service, staff lovely. All in all don’t think I will be returning, my daughter loved it. It’s a wonderful place and the Lego figures Eveywhere are incredible but I just can’t justify the cost or travel if queue times aren’t improved

Absolutely brilliant experience. We come here often and we love it every time. This time we stayed the night this time for our daughter's birthday. Suzanne in the skyline bar was spectacular. Nothing was too much and she really made us feel welcome. Thank you

We had a lovely time The Kids enjoyed themselves to the fullest Although the rides took time to get on them due to queues, but that was to be expected. The rooms are wonderful with gifts hidden in places with clues, also kids enjoyed the bunk beds The room cleaning was wonderful, they were extremely respectful and very professional It’s a must see place and would definitely recommend to everyone

Great hotel the game to get the safe open was fabulous! Milk allergy child and plenty of choice for good highly recommend. Get half hour entry to the park if staying here which is an added bonus. Parking is really close by too so avoid that dreaded crowd and slow exit. Would stay again Pool small and somewhat outdated. But kids had fun
