It's a bit old and the hygiene is average, but it's mainly for children. It's very convenient to enter and exit the park! There is a big bed and a small bunk bed, and there is a small push-pull bed under the small bed, which can accommodate 2 adults and 3 children!

We stayed in the castle hotel in August and was really pleased with the convenience of being in the park. Not having to walk back up the hill to the car was a huge plus to us and nice to be able to nip back to the room for a rest and then back to the park. Brilliant theming, there was a safe in the room that my child had to find the clues in the room to crack and inside was a legoland towel, a Lego set, a land yard and a Lego magazine. Also there was a separate area in the room with child bunk beds, a tv and Lego to play with as well as a games console. The breakfast was ok, we had booked into the castle hotel restaurant which was table service, however if we visit again we would stay at the main Lego hotel as that is where the entertainment is and the main restaurant which has the buffet style breakfast.

The room was adequate. However, we were not able to have breakfast as they cannot accommodate all the guests in the restaurant before the park opens. We were told we could come back an hour after the park had opened, but who is going to do that when we are taking advantage of the smaller queues. So either book the restaurant for breakfast as soon as you can or take something with you.

Room wasn’t clean. Chocolate wrappers left on the dressing table when arriving to room. Room was very dusty, like everywhere. The bathroom walls had toothpaste splatter around the sink. Room also smelled musty. Not worth the money at all! Premier inn is better and so much cheaper.

We were due to visit for a one night stay during the brick or treat event. Our child picked up a sickness bug the night before so we were unable to go. I spoke with customer service who told me I would have needed to call 3 days in advance (obviously I didn’t know he would be I’ll 3 days in advance.) I’m aware this is not Legoland’s problem but asked if we could pay extra to move the date or book a cheaper non event day instead. We were told they couldn’t help and unfortunately lost out over £500 on the trip. Legoland do offer cancellation protection at an extra charge, but this only covers up to 3 days beforehand, entirely pointless unless the unexpected happens well in advance. Not a great customer service experience for us.

I had high expectations for our recent stay at Legoland Resort on November 1st, particularly because we chose to book directly through their website, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, the entire stay left us feeling disappointed and, frankly, robbed of value. We stayed in adventure room and here’s what we encountered. 1. Overpriced Room with No Added Value: We paid £382 just for the room, with park tickets and extras costing even more. Shockingly, we later saw the same room on third-party sites like *********** for only £108. This pricing discrepancy was frustrating, as we felt misled and overcharged for an experience that didn’t meet basic expectations. 2. Check-In Delays and Lack of Support: We arrived at the resort in the morning, expecting an easy check-in process. While staff handed us access cards, there was no guidance on what to do while waiting, leaving us to wander the park without support or clear directions. 3. Disappointing “Reserve and Ride” System: We paid extra for the “Reserve and Ride” package, but the system was chaotic. Many rides were already full and unavailable for reservations, and staff shortages meant several queues were unmanaged, so we had to wait in regular lines despite paying for premium access. The app we relied on to navigate this system was poorly designed and frustrating to use, further diminishing our experience. 4. Substandard Room Amenities and Maintenance: When we finally got to our room, we found the bathwater barely lukewarm, despite setting it to hot. We reported it, but the issue was not resolved, leaving us unable to enjoy a proper bath. Basic amenities were also missing—one small bottle of shower gel and shampoo for a family room, with no additional items like cotton buds or even body moisturiser . Even budget hotels provide more essentials than we found here. 5. Poor Dining Experience at Sky Lounge: The food at the hotel’s Sky Lounge restaurant was overpriced and of poor quality. After just one bite, we left and went outside the resort to find a better meal. For the high prices charged, the food quality was unacceptable. 6. Room Cleanliness and Maintenance Concerns: The room itself was not clean, with loose ceiling tiles that seemed unsafe. We documented this with photos and felt that it was well below the standard for a room at this price. 7. Unengaged Staff and Poor Service: Staff seemed uninterested in providing a good experience. For instance, at breakfast, there was no one to greet us, and we saw staff members huddled in conversation rather than assisting guests. The lack of customer service was disappointing, especially at a family-focused resort like Legoland. When I raised these issues at checkout, the manager offered a £60 refund, which felt inadequate given the range of problems we faced. We had saved up for a special family experience, yet we left feeling deeply disappointed and, frankly, cheated out of what could have been a memorable stay for our daughter. For famil

This is the 3rd time we have visited Legoland Windsor and unfortunately this time was below par. The other occasions were fantastic and 5 out of 5. The positives this time were the staff were mainly very friendly throughout the resort and we loved the Woodland Village accommodation and area. The negatives, we had dinner in the restaurant inside the woodland village and for 3 rather basic courses for 4 people and 1 soft drink each, the bill came to £156. Which is eye watering for the quality of the food. The table and chairs were dirty and greasy on arrival and had food remnants from the previous customers on them. The food was okay but not great and certainly not worth that price. I ordered a water and was given no glass or ice and my daughter was given the wrong meal to what we ordered. They did take it back, but didn’t tell us what was going on and left her sitting there, without her main, until eventually bringing the correct one over and apologising. The waitress serving us disappeared at the end of our meal and I had to eventually ask another waiting staff member if I could pay up, as we had tried to get someone’s attention for 15 minutes. at this point we had been in the restaurant for nearly 2 hours. The entertainment in the restaurant was pretty low quality compared with the entertainment in the main hotel. When leaving the restaurant I tried to book the free breakfast for the following morning and was advised the only time available was 09:45 or 07:45 or earlier, which wasn’t ideal. The breakfast however, was good and it seemed a lot more organised in the morning. We will go back to Legoland, as we love the experience and the Woodland Village is pretty and has some great touches. The rangers handbook and cracking the code to the treasure safe were nice touches. But will definitely not be paying for an evening meal in the restaurant.
