Windsor Terrace Motel

Was good for a overnight stay for work....

The room was comfortable enough, but the bedside lights did not work which made it extremely dark when we needed the bathroom at night.

Shower curtain was filthy and covered with mould, especially around the bottom half of curtain. Not acceptable. Parking a bit of an issue as spaces aren’t clearly defined, and there isn’t enough space for cars in car park anyway.

Bins were not emptied from previous people. Old toilet roll on hanger Room wasn’t made up between days Doors didn’t shut properly Bed linen was clean clean Bathroom was just ok

Based on other reviews I had low expectations but, considering the low price and excellent location, I thought it was pretty good. The place is about 15 years overdue for a refurb, with everything a bit shabby and worn, hence the budget price. However the location, looking across the river from a balcony, was great. It was an excellent base for my few days of exploring the history and landscapes of the Hawkesbury. One more thing: Windsor is full of little plaques attached to items and places of historical interest. I suggest the air conditioner in my room be recommended for a Heritage listing, as a good example of an ancient technology. Fortunately the weather was lovely and I was able to leave the door to my private balcony open all night.

Our room was unsafe and dirty. The aircon electrics were hanging out of the unit (240volts exposed) and was extremely dirty. The carpet seemed to have blood stains. Tea towel had holes. Balcony table and chairs very dirty. We just could not stay due to the above. Male receptionist was reluctant to help and referred us to contacting the owner the next day. I called the owner the next day and she was extremely rude, un-cooperative and refused to refund us. They stole our money. Dont stay there. Don't be fooled by photos on website. Peter

The property was old and dated but the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The verandah could have done with a bit of a better clean as there were old cigarette butts on the wall and the corridor window sills had dead bugs in them. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

start with - no milk for making tea or coffee only 2 coffee and 2 tea bags no soap for shower and 2 sachets of shampoo which was impossible to open stayed 2 nights - no one cleaned the room and restock the tea and coffee and milk - have stayed here before and always had good service

Not great. Not as shabby as expected, but the goings on at night made me unsure of the clientele. South Asian manager and staff with little experience if customer needs Poor.
