If your looking for tranquillity, peace and quiet surrounded by nature this is the place for you we absolutely love it here. Always so amazingly clean and lots of extras like the bottles of wine that you get on your arrival. The breakfast is always plentiful and delicious and Wollombi town is so near and the locals are so friendly.

“It’s been said that most days can be quite unremarkable. That they can begin and end without any lasting memories being made in between. Time spent at Somewhere Unique is NOT most days. From within a rich tapestry that indulges the senses, intoxicating peace and comforts found here, easily take your breathe away and time, as we all know it in our busy worlds, somehow magically stands still. Yes,…memories are made. Many thanks to you both and your beautiful hideaway. Full stop, we have been spoilt! Till next time…

Lovely perfect couples retreat with everything you need so you don’t have to leave, but also some lovely food options close by In Wollombi if you feel like eating out - returned for another stay after a great stay in March 2023 - will definitely return again highly recommend.

Somewhere Unique certainly lived up to its name. The cottage was beautiful – so private and surrounded by bushland. Julia and Nick thought of everything – huge breakfasts for 2 nights as well as wine, chocolates and a cheese platter. Not to mention bikes, gorgeous toiletries and even yoga mats! Our morning “downward dogs” on the veranda were certainly enhanced by the birdsong and filtered sunlight through the trees. We were impressed by the communication from our hosts – texts and emails so we knew exactly what was happening. Thank you again for your attention to detail. A wonderful, relaxing oasis.

Somewhere Unique is the most beautiful weekend getaway that has everything you could possibly need. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was just perfect. The decor is tasteful and the cabin has everything you need. We were in the area for a wedding and the location was perfect. I will be back to stay here for sure

This place is fantastic! The hosts are excellent- they communicate clearly and quickly and pay attention to every single detail (yoga mats, bikes to borrow, towelling robes, essential oil burner, books, movies). They offer exceptional extra options that I suggest you take advantage of- cheese platter, chocolate fondue, BBQ meal pack and wine. Everything they provide is excellent quality- there is no skimping here! The breakfast portions are incredibly generous and we used it for 2 meals for both of us. The bath is enormous and has a gorgeous view. It made me feel like royalty. The king-size bed has a wonderful view and all the linens are thick and luxurious. The place is private and quiet, with spectacular views of the bush. Beautiful bird calls can be heard regularly. Everything has been designed for you to step away from your regular life and relax and rejuvenate. We are rebooking for next year. It was so so so relaxing and wonderful.
