We stayed at Shellharbour Village Motel as part of a small group and returned to this motel because we found it very comfortable on a previous visit. It is in a quiet location (no traffic noise or noisy passers-by) and is a short walk from the waterfront and close to a supermarket, specialty shops and a number of excellent restaurants and cafes. The rooms have been recently refurbished and were spotlessly clean, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed, extra blankets and tea and coffee making facilites. All members of our group were very happy with the accommodation.

Booked one night for $150 Kings room Next night booked again and couldnβt get kings room so got queens bed for $160 Went to bar asked for a stout no stout but the 10 feet corridor to the bottle shop sold lots of different stouts ordered a double rum canβt serve double rums Iβm 67 some kid can tell me what I can and canβt drink π Then we odered dinner drank two drinks and finally asked how is our meal going and told seven orders in front of us so we bailed The kids play area is popular if thatβs your scene then this is the pub for you

Booked for convenience to family. The rooms have been renovated and are exceptionally nice. Very clean and tidy. For two people the bedroom was just big enough with everything we needed. Most happy with comfort of the bed and pillows (which were just right!). We usually have an issue with enough electrical sockets due to phone charging, cpap machine etc (normally we take a power pack and extension lead).... but they have given each side of the bed two sockets AND a phone charging usb port in the middle. The bedside lamps are wired separately. Most impressed! Breakfast was supplied as a pack with milk, cereal and plastic container and wooden spoon. Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge in room. Hairdryer available from reception but I always take my own. The bathroom was spacious with a rain shower head which I didnt want to leave. Very well designed and decorated. Air conditioned with dark blind. Only downside (if it is really) is that being a pub they have music on (we stayed on a Saturday night). We expected that might be the case and you could hear muffled music upstairs but 10.30 on the dot it finished so we had a perfectly quiet nights sleep. Only downside would be for someone who could not navigate the stairs as there is no elevator. So good were staying again this weekend!

This is a resort hotel. I booked a room with a bed that sleeps two children. Breakfast and dinner are self-service. In addition to the washing machine, the room facilities are super complete. The front desk service is also very good, I want to use dinner, the hotel auntie seriously told me that there is a restaurant opposite the hotel, two minutes from the hotel door to go, meet the restaurant to engage in preferential activities, buy one get one free food, two people exactly One

This is the best hotel you could ever get in Kiama. The provided basement carpark for the guest. The staffs were so friendly. The room was perfect, beautiful and clean. Well done. Would love to stay here again in the future. Walking distance to the beach and blowhole too.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the beach, and the sanitation is very good. It is a first choice for tourism and worth visiting again. It is highly recommended. Old hotels in Australia don't feel very good, and this one is relatively new.

YYUEHUIEverything is good. The owner is very nice and welcoming. The family hotel is no different from domestic star hotels. It seems that the ownerβs family includes domestic people. No matter what, the ownerβs family is very harmonious. The couple took it early in the morning. My lovely daughter went to the beach to swim, the only drawback is a bit detour, but it's worth it!

Ffale_galPROS: 5-10 min walk to shops/restaurants 15min walk to beach. Inside the apartments immaculately clean good job to maintenance and cleaning staff. We had a 2 bdrm in the front so spacious. Large kitchen, dining and living areas. Being on the first floor in the front largest balcony. Could swing a cat inside. Free easy car parking. Right number of car parks never had to fight for one. Wifi worked well. Street view from front unit. Affordable price. CONS: first night no Foxtel, tiny main bedroom tv with no remote which sounded very βtinnyβ, no gas cooking only hot plate, no light in fridge, worn lounges, only 1 wall aircon unit in lounge had to sleep with bedroom doors open at night, 1st floor units separated only by 1.5m height gate with joint wrap around balconies with neighbouring unit, screen doors latches broken couldnβt lock, if I were in an female group or had young daughters I wouldnβt feel safe, no seaviews, no pool.

Reception is inside the bottle shop which is βvery Wollongongβ (I grew up there so I can say that! ) and was staffed by a friendly young man who did an excellent job. The room was very clean, quiet, private and surprisingly modern. It more than met our needs as somewhere to sleep (rather than somewhere you would want to spend hours in) so I would definitely recommend to others. It is adjacent to the large hotel and food facilities which is handy. Only suggestion for improvement: get rid of International Roast as the supplied coffee - yuck !

GGuest Userame here for 2 nights - because we had to - in our campervan trip due to its ratings and position close to the sea. Easy to book online and when we arrived we had an okay welcome, but o chance to pick the place we want - because theoretically it was full. The reality was different with a number of sites being vacant. The sites were a good size and had grass plus there were paths to the beach and a code to get into and out of everything. area. We asked to be put in a quiet place, but unfortunately were given a place in the middle of a large group of party people with multiple sites, who were continually walking through our site, playing games and fighting on our site, plus weβre up the after 1.30am with their party. We asked to move and were grudgingly moved to a different site with the assistant saying that the group in question are leaving and that most of the sites are fully booked and unavailable. Location is great - next to the sea with a little walk through the dunes to a beautiful beach and paths to it. The toilets are very clean and function well, but there not many of them, while the showers are really good. There was no WiFi at all which was disappointing. Good value for money @$68 for a powered site for 2 nights. Would be 5* if we had better attitude from the reception assistant and had WiFi.

GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed here recently. We booked one of the king bed rooms. When we checked in the man at reception was pleasant and helpful, offering us milk and directing us to our rooms. Parking allows for one car per room when the motel is full. Unfortunately thatβs about the best part of the experience. The overall look of the establishment is that it is very run down and dated. The room smelled musky and had a small tv accompanied by a DVD/VHS player. The bed in the room was terrible!! The hardest mattress I have ever slept on, well beyond a firm mattress. The shower head in the bathroom was dripping (from what I assume is the washer that needs replacing) and the shower door did not close. The tiles needed re grouting. Overall, the bathroom was very cramped. We did not spend enough time in the room to use the wifi so I cannot comment on whether it was good or bad. Basic tea and coffee facilities available. Shortbread biscuits tasted a bit stale. Overall I thought the price of the room (for what you got) should probably be halved to reflect value for money.

SSarah B2nd visit, 2night stay at this property. Found the room good for a short stay, very centeralised to everything in the area. It Did the job. Easy to get to. First morning had housekeeping knock on door to clean up room while we were getting ready for the day. Dont know if they didnt know we were staying 2 nights instead of the 1. We were lucky we had chain on door. On site thai restuant was good. Didnt have to go far for dinner. However it did change hands / name change since last visit. Down side is that the Room this time didnt have a dvd player in it. Purchased cheap 1 from jb hifi. The room doesnt have a microwave either to heat up left over food if needed to. Lastly, beds can be more comfy. Single bed in twin room was bit hard to sleep on due to the steel frame it was on, and a bit too high as well. Was more comfy on the double bed with the friend i was with to watch tv. (He didnt mind) Also, price had gone up a little as well since last visit.

GGuest UserGood for a budget and short stay. Stayed here as a friend went to a show in Wollongong. Surprisingly the bed was actually comfy, and the room was tidy. However the room was a bit too hot as it was facing the afternoon sun, and didn't have air con, but room did have fan. Other down side there was no mini fridge to keep drinks cold, and only access to a double power point. Room access is via stairs and has no lift access. Bath in shared bathroom needs bit of an update but shower was ok. Limited parking on site as well, but there is street parking near by.

GGuest UserFor $15 lunch specials there were a few choices. We had fish and chips generous portion and was fine for a pub lunch special. Pub is lovely and spacious with a very nice indoor/outdoor area. Wine by the bottle a bit on the expensive side compared to some other places but it still a nice time was had by all. Please have a wine list so that people can chose a glass or bottle rather than staff rattling off the names of the wines they have.

We were arriving on a Sunday where the reception is closed, so accessed our room key via a key safe (simple to use). We chose a car park view since we only used the motel to sleep. Room: Pretty small / tight for space around the bed. Limited storage space. Balcony area over looking the car park - noisy when people came and went. Large fridge in the room - too big really, as a smaller bar fridge would take up less space. Lamp by the bed side, but no plug socket. No washing up liquid for the cups provided. Comfy bed. However, there were display cushions and runner with stains on. Full length mirror. Bathroom: Small!! Shower curtain made the shower feel very tiny. Poor flush on the loo. However - a nice stay which we would use again. Decor pleasant.
