Check in after 6pm, no reception. Parking charges. I booked two rooms and one living room, but there was no quilt! Only the sheets! I called the customer service, and there was no staff in the hotel to send the quilt, but said that there was floor heating that turned on automatically, but we did not feel the heating, and it was frozen all night. Don't live here in the cold winter!

Booked for convenience to family. The rooms have been renovated and are exceptionally nice. Very clean and tidy. For two people the bedroom was just big enough with everything we needed. Most happy with comfort of the bed and pillows (which were just right!). We usually have an issue with enough electrical sockets due to phone charging, cpap machine etc (normally we take a power pack and extension lead).... but they have given each side of the bed two sockets AND a phone charging usb port in the middle. The bedside lamps are wired separately. Most impressed! Breakfast was supplied as a pack with milk, cereal and plastic container and wooden spoon. Tea and coffee making facilities with fridge in room. Hairdryer available from reception but I always take my own. The bathroom was spacious with a rain shower head which I didnt want to leave. Very well designed and decorated. Air conditioned with dark blind. Only downside (if it is really) is that being a pub they have music on (we stayed on a Saturday night). We expected that might be the case and you could hear muffled music upstairs but 10.30 on the dot it finished so we had a perfectly quiet nights sleep. Only downside would be for someone who could not navigate the stairs as there is no elevator. So good were staying again this weekend!

Stayed one night for a function in Wollongong. Reception is inside the bottle shop which is โvery Wollongongโ (I grew up there so I can say that! ) and was staffed by a friendly young man who did an excellent job. The room was very clean, quiet, private and surprisingly modern. It more than met our needs as somewhere to sleep (rather than somewhere you would want to spend hours in) so I would definitely recommend to others. It is adjacent to the large hotel and food facilities which is handy. Only suggestion for improvement: get rid of International Roast as the supplied coffee - yuck !

My wife and I stayed here recently. We booked one of the king bed rooms. When we checked in the man at reception was pleasant and helpful, offering us milk and directing us to our rooms. Parking allows for one car per room when the motel is full. Unfortunately thatโs about the best part of the experience. The overall look of the establishment is that it is very run down and dated. The room smelled musky and had a small tv accompanied by a DVD/VHS player. The bed in the room was terrible!! The hardest mattress I have ever slept on, well beyond a firm mattress. The shower head in the bathroom was dripping (from what I assume is the washer that needs replacing) and the shower door did not close. The tiles needed re grouting. Overall, the bathroom was very cramped. We did not spend enough time in the room to use the wifi so I cannot comment on whether it was good or bad. Basic tea and coffee facilities available. Shortbread biscuits tasted a bit stale. Overall I thought the price of the room (for what you got) should probably be halved to reflect value for money.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the beach, and the sanitation is very good. It is a first choice for tourism and worth visiting again. It is highly recommended. Old hotels in Australia don't feel very good, and this one is relatively new.

In addition to the washing machine, the room facilities are super complete. The front desk service is also very good, I want to use dinner, the hotel auntie seriously told me that there is a restaurant opposite the hotel, two minutes from the hotel door to go, meet the restaurant to engage in preferential activities, buy one get one free food, two people exactly One

GGuest Userame here for 2 nights - because we had to - in our campervan trip due to its ratings and position close to the sea. Easy to book online and when we arrived we had an okay welcome, but o chance to pick the place we want - because theoretically it was full. The reality was different with a number of sites being vacant. The sites were a good size and had grass plus there were paths to the beach and a code to get into and out of everything. area. We asked to be put in a quiet place, but unfortunately were given a place in the middle of a large group of party people with multiple sites, who were continually walking through our site, playing games and fighting on our site, plus weโre up the after 1.30am with their party. We asked to move and were grudgingly moved to a different site with the assistant saying that the group in question are leaving and that most of the sites are fully booked and unavailable. Location is great - next to the sea with a little walk through the dunes to a beautiful beach and paths to it. The toilets are very clean and function well, but there not many of them, while the showers are really good. There was no WiFi at all which was disappointing. Good value for money @$68 for a powered site for 2 nights. Would be 5* if we had better attitude from the reception assistant and had WiFi.

BBINA very standard foreigner resort hotel, with a living room and a bedroom, as well as a kitchen for cooking and basic kitchen utensils. You can buy a steak from the supermarket and you can come back for frying. After all, it is a small rural city, and parking is very convenient. No additional parking fees are required.

GGuest UserGood for a budget and short stay. Stayed here as a friend went to a show in Wollongong. Surprisingly the bed was actually comfy, and the room was tidy. However the room was a bit too hot as it was facing the afternoon sun, and didn't have air con, but room did have fan. Other down side there was no mini fridge to keep drinks cold, and only access to a double power point. Room access is via stairs and has no lift access. Bath in shared bathroom needs bit of an update but shower was ok. Limited parking on site as well, but there is street parking near by.

SSarah B2nd visit, 2night stay at this property. Found the room good for a short stay, very centeralised to everything in the area. It Did the job. Easy to get to. First morning had housekeeping knock on door to clean up room while we were getting ready for the day. Dont know if they didnt know we were staying 2 nights instead of the 1. We were lucky we had chain on door. On site thai restuant was good. Didnt have to go far for dinner. However it did change hands / name change since last visit. Down side is that the Room this time didnt have a dvd player in it. Purchased cheap 1 from jb hifi. The room doesnt have a microwave either to heat up left over food if needed to. Lastly, beds can be more comfy. Single bed in twin room was bit hard to sleep on due to the steel frame it was on, and a bit too high as well. Was more comfy on the double bed with the friend i was with to watch tv. (He didnt mind) Also, price had gone up a little as well since last visit.

GGuest UserFor $15 lunch specials there were a few choices. We had fish and chips generous portion and was fine for a pub lunch special. Pub is lovely and spacious with a very nice indoor/outdoor area. Wine by the bottle a bit on the expensive side compared to some other places but it still a nice time was had by all. Please have a wine list so that people can chose a glass or bottle rather than staff rattling off the names of the wines they have.

GGuest UserPre booked (room 12 car park view) over the phone / $160 night (2 night stay). We were arriving on a Sunday where the reception is closed, so accessed our room key via a key safe (simple to use). We chose a car park view since we only used the motel to sleep. Room: Pretty small / tight for space around the bed. Limited storage space. Balcony area over looking the car park - noisy when people came and went. Large fridge in the room - too big really, as a smaller bar fridge would take up less space. Lamp by the bed side, but no plug socket. No washing up liquid for the cups provided. Comfy bed. However, there were display cushions and runner with stains on. Full length mirror. Bathroom: Small!! Shower curtain made the shower feel very tiny. Poor flush on the loo. However - a nice stay which we would use again. Decor pleasant.
