Room on first night was only setup for 1 person, had to ask for towels, teabags, Milk and others. Room itself was really nice. Fire alarm at 6.30am, on top floor no lift started walking down the stairs ( walking difficulties) met a man coming up who said false alarm. phew, no information at all from hotel even when we asked.

We had evening meal in the Bistro where we found the staff as always friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. The food was outstanding and we enjoyed it very much. We are regular visitors and enjoy the place. It was quite busy but there was no waiting for service.

Recently stayed at the Washington central on a work Christmas party evening the hotel, food, service and venue along with room and breakfast was fantastic . The staff are very attentive and friendly. What made the evening extra special was the exceptional customer service provided by the hotel receptionist Shauna Thomas she went over and above to ensure my evening was not spoilt I had a long journey to this Christmas event and about half way I realised I had forgotten to pack my party dress! A few phone calls to shops and Shauna at the hotel this amazing girl went out on an evening or torrential rain and winds and purchased a dress for me out of her own money with very short notice and it was waiting for me on arrival what an incredible act of kindness that has made my evening and stay there even more unforgettable Thank you Shauna you really are a star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ And a big thank you to all staff what an amazing night. X

A review from a very tired individual 💤 Great location, efficient check in. Room clean but dated. The walls are so thin you can hear everything from the rooms at the side of you and the TV from the rooms below. The bar area is cosy but a bit pricey but that is to be expected in a central hotel. I didn’t have the breakfast which was included in the price but the people that I spoke to said it was great and if you chose not to have it you can have a packed lunch to take with you. The central location is perfect for the shops, bars and restaurants. Overall a good hotel and with a little bit of work I would return. After requesting a quiet location I hope room 34 was an error on their part and not an actual “ Quiet location”

Quite basic Would only stay as a work stop over, rooms were basic in the Annex. I had to pay for pool facilities which was why I booked the venue because I thought it was included. Car park for about 10 cars at the front of the hotel I got the last space. Breakfast was good which again was not included.

Excellent dtay Upon arrival there were a couple of issues. The efficient and friendly staff resolved any problems and ensured they would be addressed. The food was fabulous . Could not fault the service.
