The hotel is very clean and well maintained! So much, that I thought it was a new hotel. The staff were all welcoming and helpful. Very commendable! We were just staying for a night as we traveled to the Black Hills. The location is very convenient and generally quiet. Lots of retail and restaurants close by. EV charging, too.

Very clean and well maintained hotel.I had a regular 2 queen bed room,it is HUGE!!....Will or would definitively stay here again,would recommend to other people as well.

We stayed at this hotel for one night. When we walked into the lobby, we noticed how fresh and clean it was - in fact, it was so nice that we asked if it was a new hotel! (It's not - it's a few years old.) There are boot brushes / scrapers outside the doors so people won't track in mud and such. Our room was clean and comfortable with the modern updated furniture and lighting that the Holiday Inn Express has moved to. Like others we have stayed at on this road trip, the water pressure is a bit low in the showers, but other than that, the room and bathroom were good. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was pretty standard for this chain. Location-wise, there are several restaurants nearby as well as a Walgreens and a Hy-Vee and a Walmart.

Where to start? The service lacked enthusiasm. Asked for a room on the top floor but was told there were no rooms available but when complained to front desk that the smell of mustiness and cleaning solvent was overwhelming, suddenly there was a room open? The phone reception was so bad in room couldn't hear the staff on the other end - no solution offered up. Couldn't work at the desk because there was not only no lamp, the desk had the holes in it for wiring it had never been completed. No water in the room. Shovels and pails stored in the entry. There are restaurants nearby and a number of other hotels. I would choose differently next time. The room was close to three hundred dollars and in my opinion, poor value for the money.

I had a friendly greeting at the front desk with efficient check-in. The room was clean and neat. The soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion were good. Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel to stay at in Worthington. Woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Right next door to a nice restaurant.
