The location is outside in the middle of nowhere. The hotel might offer nice outdoor swimming pools and other services, however everything was closed!!! So don’t go here, in case you prefer these services.
The lake view is pretty limited (see the attached picture). The overall conditions are outdated.
And if you want to enjoy breakfast or dinner, expect other guests smoking in the middle of the restaurant area (some people care / at the least the staff didn’t care at all).
Given other hotel options in Wuhan, I cannot recommend this place.

Our indoor pool is open daily and our outdoor pool will be open on June 1st. As for the smoking you mentioned, smoking is prohibited in our restaurant. If a guest smokes, the staff will immediately stop it. We will strengthen staff training to ensure that guests have a better dining experience. What can I say? What an amazing stay again. I’ve stayed for work events in which we used the ballroom for our work celebration. I then came here for peace when my father passed away. This was the one place I knew I could come that brought me peace and happiness. This trip was for my anniversary and it was beyond amazing. We decided to to go with a suite and the reservation came with a free photo shoot. Our photographer, Xiao Liu, was kind and the photo shoot was an amazing experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet has live entertainment and amazing chefs as well. We also wanted to get massages too but ran out of time. We will get them next time. Overall, I’m grateful for Optic Valley Hilton and the true peace our experiences bring each time. Exactly what we need on vacation.

Was ok... Hotel needs a lot of maintenance and a bit of care. The garden around the hotel is really nice but we've stayed there twice before and the outdoor pools haven't been open. Breakfast buffet is pretty good.

Nice hotel with great outdoor pool. Breakfast was ok. Went on a holiday weekend and had to wait in line 30 minutes just to get into the breakfast buffet. Would do room service for breakfast next time. Beds are very comfy and despite the number of guests, still quiet at night.

Stay was amazing,the rooms are big and clean, the breakfast was good especially if your a foreigner.We also booked the spa which was abit pricy but the hotel gave us a 300rmb voucher off the total price and the massage and service was absolutely amazing as you get an entire private massage room with a bathroom. And the hotel staff are really friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was perfect. The parking spaces are good including children playground activity. The servicing staffs are friendly and helpful too.
