Best Hotels near Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Wuhan

Great location, affordable price, large room with sofa and working desk. Room cleaning is done promptly. Front desk is efficient. Would stay here again. Construction is going on in front of hotel, but the noise doesn't reach my room. Remote volume button doesn't seem to work.

1) Short walk to Jianghan Road Walkway where there are plenty of good food 2) The hotel is just next to train station that go straight to high speed train station and airport. 3) Hotel staffs are helpful

The staffs were friendly, helpful and efficient in their work. The premises were kept in tip top condition and spotless, a feeling of brand new. The hotel lobby was simply magnificent. Made me felt like a VIP. The breakfast at the revolving restaurant was without question superb - wide range of Chinese, Western and local specialities. The Metro station entrance was only 5 minutes walk. Between the station and the hotel were full of eateries, convenient stores and flowers shops. This hotel is highly recommended. My wife and I had a lovely time. See Yem Kan

The location really is the hotel’s best feature. It is situated right by the river, and the there is a nice street market no more than 100 meters away. The lively Jianghan street is also somewhat close. The rooms are clean and staff is pleasant as well. They did call me several times after I checked out asking for a five-star review, which I do not appreciate. Otherwise no complaints!

The hotel is a 110-year-old building with a very distinctive retro decoration style. The geographical location is excellent. Jianghan Road Pedestrian Street, Lihuangpi Road, Jiqing Street, Jiangtan, and Wuhan Pass Pier can all be reached on foot from the hotel. The hotel service and hygiene are very good, and the facilities are relatively complete. The curtains, lights, and TV in the room can be controlled by Xiaodu voice, and takeaways can be delivered to the door of the room by a robot.

The location is relatively good, just on the pedestrian street, the surrounding area is lively, and the hotel staff are also very polite. The bathroom in the room smelled like it was stuffy. Get off at Exit C of Wuhan Metro Line 2 and walk 200 meters away. The original hotel has been newly renovated and the facilities are simple and clear, similar to those in Vienna. I booked a day in advance and paid 660 to bring breakfast. The breakfast on the 5th floor was really average. The beef noodles are not tasty. Not a lot of variety but still enough to fill you up! I found an ant on my bed at night when I went to sleep. Disinfection needs to be strengthened! Maybe it’s because it’s newly opened. There’s road construction going on downstairs and it’s super loud. However, the hotel’s soundproofing facilities serve as soundproofing facilities, but you can still hear it. This construction🚧It’s estimated that the road construction may not be completed in half a year. The sound of the electric drill is super loud. . In addition, the hotel only provides 8 hours of parking in the underground parking lot 🅿️. If you pay more than that, it is suspected to be 6 yuan an hour! Just like that!

Highly recommend this one! ! The surrounding geographical environment of the hotel is good, and overall the price/performance ratio is very high. As a foreigner, check-in at this hotel was easy and fast beyond my expectations! The bed in the room was very clean and the price was favorable. Living in such a location, the service attitude of the lady at the front desk was outstanding. She patiently listened to and answered my questions, helped me carry my luggage upstairs, and recommended snacks from nearby merchants. I will come back~ To all the foreigners like me out there: This hotel itself is a jewel hidden in the city, if you are seeking to reduce cost in your trip, this hotel will really suit you. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Staff were outstanding. Rooms excellent. Only complaint is that there is nowhere to sit and wait in the lobby.

We booked a classic king suite, and when we arrived at the hotel, we were upgraded to the ladies' floor and given a river view room! We stayed for six nights, the mattress was very comfortable, and the toiletries were Thann! The slippers and bathrobes were of very good quality! Because we were taking our children to play, it was very convenient to have a small kitchen to make some simple complementary food for the children! The location is also amazing, with convenient transportation. It takes only five minutes to take a taxi to Wuhan Tiandi! When checking out, due to the flight delay, the front desk lady Coco delayed the check-out until three o'clock in the afternoon! The cleaning lady Aiping enthusiastically introduced us to the fun places in Wuhan, and also took good care of the baby, increasing the frequency of garbage cleaning and daily necessities for us! The handsome guys in the concierge depar**ent were also active and enthusiastic. Because we had a lot of luggage with children, it caused them a lot of trouble in a few days. Thank you very much! I will choose Danfeng Bailu next time I come to Wuhan!

First off, I want to say that the housekeeping department was wonderful. They were not only great cleaners but they were also very thoughtful about checking when we would be out of the room during the day if they happened to show up when we were there. A few other things that were great about the hotel: the spectacular location (it's near so many great restaurants in a very walkable area), the big empty swimming pool with a view of the city, the generosity with face masks, and all staff seemed well trained in hospitality... So it breaks my heart that our arrival at the hotel so completely marred our stay. When my kids and I walked into the hotel one of the staff--I'm afraid I didn't catch her name in my shock, but I believe she was the manager on duty--grabbed a handful of gloves and handed them to us as we were still struggling to pull out all the green codes required of us (we were told to show two codes initially and then later would go through many more codes in a quest to see which would be accepted). She started the conversation by asking if we were leaving and when we said we were checking in, she asked to see the tracing app and immediately declared all the places we had been to as dangerous (the app was green and there were no asterisks at that point, I would later gain an asterisk thanks to being in Wuhan). They were not. We had travelled carefully, tracking the news of outbreaks and did our best to avoid all dangerous locations and crowds. We explained this to her and walked her through every place on our trip that we had been, but she refused to accept any of this. She kept insisting everywhere we had been was dangerous. It didn't matter to her how many green codes we had. We were foreigners that had come to Wuhan from a city in Jiangsu, taking a route that travelled near provinces where there were COVID-19 cases, and that meant we were dangerous. I want to be sympathetic. People in Wuhan had a much worse 2020 than anyone else in China. I can only imagine how terrifying it must be to have another significant outbreak a year later (we further had the bad luck of arriving in Wuhan on the same day as new cases). The hotel staff gave us a free fruit plate and they gave my daughter a stuffed animal, which she adored. But I was also travelling alone with two kids who were so traumatized by the experience (they were worried that we would be taken to a hospital or quarantine center and separated for who-knows-how-long) that they initially refused to eat dinner and still talk about the experience a week later (it didn't help that they noticed a Chinese guest arrive and check in without a face mask while we were still being interrogated with gloves and masks on and waited for a doctor to come and clear us). When the kids finally did decide they would eat, so long as we didn't leave the hotel, we discovered there was no longer ocean fish or seafood on the menu because of the virus which was interesting because we would find plenty of places outside the hotel that still offered salmon. Later when we tried to go to the Thai restaurant in the ball, we were told it was not open to us because of COVID-19 restrictions even though two lovely ladies who looked shocked to see us in the elevator were welcomed in. I assume there was some small private engagement or meeting that wasn't open to the public as there was no information anywhere that said the hotel restaurant was closed to the public. So I am divided on my feelings on this hotel. I want to believe it is a well run hotel and we were just unlucky to arrive on the wrong day. I can't really see myself staying here again if I return to Wuhan. My kids and I didn't really feel welcome here.
