The massive Wutai Mountain Marriott combines a spectacular facility with polished and friendly service, nothing was too much for the ever present and willing staff. Wu Tai Shan is a gem of a place to visit and the comforts of the Marriott certainly put the cream on the cake.

Marriott is definitely a must-see hotel every time I come to Mount Wutai. This year, a new hot spring was opened. After soaking in the dust along the way, I felt very quiet! The breakfast was still rich and satisfying. I took a photo and it was a beautiful view.

The room is nice and the environment is very good. It is the best hotel in Wutai Mountain. I will stay here every time I come here. The buffet in the hotel is good... Friends who come to Wutai Mountain can give priority to this hotel. I recommend it to those of you who need it...

The room is clean and comfortable, the front desk service is ok; the hotel is next to the tourist center, you can call the hotel car for pick-up, there is a bus to Wuye Temple at 7 o'clock in the morning, which is convenient and considerate. Recommended!

The hotel service is very good, although it is not convenient to enter the hotel (the hotel is in the scenic area), next to it is the Fanjingshan Cultural Tourism Town. Because we chartered a car, the car could only go to the tourist center. We had three suitcases and a handbag for two people. After informing the hotel, the hotel sent service staff to help with the luggage before entering the hotel. The hotel room facilities are a bit old, and the sanitary service is not in place. I heard from my friends that Manjusri Bodhisattva in Mount Wutai is very spiritual. I came here for my son's college entrance examination next year. I booked a car at 12 am the day before, so that I could enter the scenic area unimpeded. I arrived at the hotel at around 3 pm. It was rainy. After getting off the car, my husband went to park the car. I dragged 2 suitcases and 2 bags to the front desk to check in alone. The security guard at the gate of the hotel ignored my presence, did not take the luggage, and did not ask if I needed help. The service after checking in was very good. The balcony railings in the room were not sanitary and dusty, but everything else was ok. I lived on the 6th floor. The bathing water temperature was not the most stable. The hotel restaurant set meal for dinner was selected. Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine were selected for 2 days. We prefer the taste of Cantonese cuisine. Mount Wutai is very large. It is recommended that everyone try to drive there by themselves. We only worshipped four temples all day. The top of Beitai, which is more than 3,000 meters above sea level, needs to be driven up by ourselves. The scenery is beautiful.

I came here for the 70th National Day 5 years ago, and it felt unpopular at the time. I passed by Wutai Mountain on the 75th National Day and stayed here again. It was really amazing. The facilities are well maintained. Although the room is not managed by AI, it makes people more relaxed. The Fanjing Town directly in front of the door is brightly lit and has rich programs. You can see the drone show from the room, which is amazing.

Although the facilities are a bit old, the service and catering are very rich, especially compared with other unpalatable and expensive farm dishes in the scenic area, there are many more choices here. During the National Day holiday, there are three buses in the morning that go directly to Wuye Temple. At other times, you need to take a shuttle bus to Daganhe Village to transfer to the No. 8 bus in the scenic area, which is quite convenient. A slightly troublesome thing is that you don’t make an appointment to get on the bus to enter the scenic area. You need to transfer to the bus at the South Gate parking lot to enter, which is a bit inconvenient with luggage

Except for the brand name Marriott and the familiar smell of the lobby, the rest really can't be called Marriott! 1. The hygiene is ridiculously poor. I came back at 10 o'clock in the evening and opened the quilt! There was urine stains. Didn't they check the room? See the pictures for yourself! 2. The service at the front desk is extremely arrogant. Because it is a so-called five-star hotel, the deposit was not refunded until the next day after calling! Can't I check out on my own initiative? 3. @Breakfast is just too strong. The staff will persuade you to check out if they can. If you want a scrambled egg, you will be told to wait for 40 minutes. They don't say why and just tell you to eat something else. I'm busy and don't have time to leave you. The line for wontons is 4 at a time! Wait until you want to eat! In short, I don't recommend it. It's good to choose a homestay. At least it's cheap and you won't be angry!

There is a secret place at the entrance of the hotel, with many restaurants and a strong commercial atmosphere. The breakfast is just so-so. The Dragon House Chinese Restaurant is too bad. The waiter has no sense of service at all. The soup is served without a spoon. When I ordered a set meal, they said there was no food at first, but later they had it. Some dishes could not be placed on the table, so they were left on the table next to them and ignored. The most bizarre thing is that the two waiters were eating while talking and laughing while collecting the plates of the guests from another table, which really ruined my worldview. In short, this Marriott is really not good, and it's really not worth the room price of two thousand!
