Hotels in Mashan Scenic Area, Wuxi

We had a great time at this hotel. Our rooms were amazing, spacious and comfortable. The beds was perfect as always worry about a hard bed. The quality of the furnishings are high quality in the rooms with lots of lighting options, remote curtains etc and bath with feet and tv to relax in the bath. The tv has English movies which is rare based on our experiences of hotels in China. There is even a cinema with pre downloaded movie options that you can watch with English subtitles and cinema chairs. There are two large pools, one indoor which is really cool with dark lighting and very blue water and one outside which my kids were brave enough to swim in with a view overlooking the lake. The hot springs were hot and relaxing with Tea, milk and sulphur baths. We are in the restaurant for dinner and have good local cuisine as well as breakfast in the morning with western options. The staff hospitality is what set this hotel experience apart as the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Turbo was fantastic and spoke good English so he could help us with checkin and other requests during the stay. Thanks so much Turbo and your colleagues for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back. A gem in Wuxi!

Nianhua Bay in Wuxi is about two hours' drive from Nanjing. I often saw it online before. It is suitable for a weekend parent-child trip. The weather is very good these two days. I took advantage of the weekend to bring my parents and children to relax. Generally speaking, the scenic area is not very large, but the good performances are mainly concentrated at night, so you can watch them slowly if you stay overnight. I booked the cottage in advance. I need to add 300 on Saturday, which is acceptable. There are still many people on weekends. It includes tickets and breakfast. When checking in, I said I wanted to be closer to the performance venue. The front desk lady upgraded it to an inn for free. The Nianhua Tower is right outside the door, and it is very close to any performance scene. There are many performances in the scenic area, from noon to night. The ones that impressed me most are the water curtain movie, the tower lighting ceremony, and the Nianhua smile in the Smile Square. I have seen the drone show online, and it is really shocking to watch it live. It is best to watch both shows and not miss it. All businesses in the scenic area close at around 9:30 in the evening, including the inn housekeeper, who also gets off work at 9:30. It feels a bit early. Unfortunately, my son was hungry at that time, and it was very deserted outside when he went out. Most of the shops inside are expensive, but it is understandable that they are located in the scenic area. There are many places to take photos and check in, especially the ladies wearing Hanfu can be seen everywhere, as if they have traveled through time, but it's a pity that my family has a boy. I will come again if I have the chance. Traveling with a nine-month-old baby, I communicated with the hotel in advance about the appropriate room type and needs, and the hotel arranged it very well. The staff, both at the front desk and in the catering department, are friendly and proactive in providing assistance. The hotel is in the scenic area. If you buy a two-day ticket for Lingshan Giant Buddha, you can come in and out at any time, which is convenient for taking your baby to take a nap. In addition, although the hotel has been open for a long time, the facilities are well maintained and do not look old at all. The experience of this stay and the stay in 10 years can be given full marks.

I especially liked the bamboo forest view room. I opened the curtains. The breeze accompanied by the bamboo forest in the garden. The sound of shaking, weak downstairs, someone chatting and drinking tea. I think life really needs to slow down... The beautiful proprietress and the clerk are very hospitable. It is like going to a friend’s home. The afternoon tea for the two is particularly exquisite. The next day, I still tasted a very authentic Sichuan hot pot in the yard. It is only ten minutes away from the nearby play. You can order from the proprietress one day in advance, you can get 10 yuan cheaper each, and go to the legendary Nianhua Bay in the afternoon until the evening. The drive is only 15 minutes. The beautiful scenery at night is nothing to say bad except for the high consumption of many people. I recommend this one, at least next time I would love to take my family back.

There are many Buddhist scriptures in the library, and there are some Buddhist books in the room. It can be seen that the boss has the heart to give and benefit all living beings. Like it. I will have the opportunity to stay for a few more days in the future.

The green mountains outside the inn are full of green. Standing on the side of the yard, you can see the Lingshan Giant Buddha. The air is fresh and the environment is quiet. The room was clean, the air conditioner was turned on in the greenhouse on the day of the accommodation was a bit warm, and the bath water was very comfortable. The parking space is very convenient in front of the building. The boss is very enthusiastic, help with luggage, introduce the way of sightseeing, very good accommodation experience, will come next time.

The front desk lady was warm and polite. I upgraded to the 4th floor deluxe lake view room for free. The balcony has a wide view, looking out to the hundred-acre lotus pond and the unobstructed view of Taihu Lake. It was refreshing to lie on the bed and face the beautiful scenery of Taihu Lake. It is very convenient to visit Nianhua Bay. I will stay here again next time I have the chance.
