This was a great choice for the trip! I went to Huangling with my sister and stayed at this hotel. The hotel is located right at the scenic area. Service is amazing! There is a car that brings you to the reception area right after you take the cable car. After checking in, one of the staff brought us to our room and he also gave us some information about the area, including activities and shows we might be interested in watching. Our original room was not yet ready so they gave us another room. The view was just as great and even when we decided to stay indoors due to the heat outside, we could still enjoy the view of the area with the chilis being dried outside the rooftops.

A great way to get away from the city and experience the charm of an ancient village surrounded by breathtaking landscape.

The hotel rooms are actually split among many of the buildings around Huangling. Despite looking like an old building on the outside, the inside was furnished like a modern hotel room.
Check-in is at the lower cable car station. There's a shuttle service that picks you up from the upper cable car station and takes you to the hotel reception area. From there you'll walk to your room, wherever it happens to be.
Breakfast buffet was Chinese-style with multiple options.

Generally, I have a mixed feelings for this property. For the price point, I was expecting the cleanliness to be better. The bathroom had a musty smell. The amenities looked a little worn. Nevertheless, the people at the property and the housekeeper were really friendly and helpful. The location of the place was great. It’s smacked on top of the mountains overlooking the slopes of cascading houses with autumn harvests. The breakfast is good.

Before booking a room, I called the hotel and someone patiently answered my questions. After placing the order, customer service soon added WeChat and sent hotel location pictures and precautions.
