Hotels near APX Archaeological Park, Xanten

Ein mit Liebe geführtes Landhotel in idyllischer Lage mit superfreundlichen Eigentümern, schöne Zimmer, Verpflegung steht bei Bedarf auch bis in die Nacht bereit. Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür und eine schöne gepflegte Anlange. Ich würde auch privat jederzeit wieder kommen.

The ancient town is a short walk away and worth visiting. The room is relatively large, with bottled water and porcelain glass glasses, as well as a kettle, instant coffee. Very worth staying for a few days in a hotel, rare in Germany.

I felt welcome here, also with dog! I have eaten here 2 times super, the portions are RUIM enough. My room was in the new building part and was clean and well-cared! A good bed, easy to operate TV, delicious shower, refrigerator. The only.. no airco. Window could be open far enough🙂 Have experienced the operation as very friendly and helpful. Thanks Zeljko Dragodic and family. Recommend friends!

We booked a room with our little child to spend two days in the nearby Park Ireland. Until check-in, I had only received a booking confirmation with booking number and QR code (my experience after check-in). In the evening against 19Uhr we were now standing closed with a tired little child - from a code for the key cash box was nothing on the Internet site or in the mail (According to the Internet site, the reception was occupied weekdays up to 22Uhr). I called at the hotline, here I was 2x over a total of 10min in the waiting line and was thrown out of the line twice. Other guests inside have left us in the lobby and continued to get us the nice staff on the phone (after receiving a card via the telephone of the reception via the partner hotel). We should be encoded through the hotline one of the cards on the extraordinary treasure, which did not work so we stood closed to the room door. So with the baby now, overtook the telephone again to the lobby and more minutes in the waiting chain. After the staff had encoded the card again, we could also send the listener directly to the next guests who were closed to the door and also did not know what they should do. After more than 45Minuten we finally could go to the room. 2 stars there are only for breakfast at the adjacent restaurant - here you were very struggling and it was very delicious. What is this for an organization and for which service is here paid over €130 per night? The hotel did not have a feedback on my complaint, but the cancellation was only 30Minuten after the telephone check-out, as the reception was not occupied even in the morning.

Hotel was probably very impressive in 2009 but is now a little dated. The hotel is quite large and very clean but the environment surrounding the hotel is disappointing. The hotel has two saunas but one of the two did not work unfortunately. The hotel restaurant was great and food also decent enough but the breakfast is amazing. Also we had a broken showerhead which was disappointing. Also the charger for electric vehicle had one broken only one of the two in the basememt worked. However... The staff and people working here are amazing and very friendly so we still give four stars even though some aspects of our stay were a little disappointing
