Ibis Styles Hotel (Xi'an Bell and Drum Tower Huimin Street) Reviews

Hotel is in a very good location, close to attractions and metro line. Take note that they do not have a front porch, so the dropoff usually directs to Shehui Road (社会路) and you have to walk through a carpark before you get to reception. There is another ibis hotel very close to this hotel - make sure you go to the correct one (even my tour guide got it wrong!) Service can be improved slightly as the reception staff often appeared bored. Housekeeping also entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was clearly displayed. Otherwise, room is clean and modern. There is a rooftop garden with perfect view of the Drum Tower.

It is perfect for sightseeing as exactly in the middle of bell and drum towers. The car access is in the back side with a bit inconvenient. The upper garden can view to the drum tower

The location of the hotel is very central! A little bit hidden but not hard to find. Drum and bell tower and huimin street next to the hotel like in the description. Also a lot of food. Really nice

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for travellers. It is located between the drum tower and Bell tower.. in addition, the Huimin Street ( food street ) is behind the hotel ( 2 minutes walk). The staff at the hotel are really welcoming and kind-hearted, and help with anything you need during your stay. The front desk staff speacilly (Mrs. Lei yu) is really hospitable and kind. her kindness and welcoming face made this trip a memorable trip. The hotel rooms are hygienic and beautiful. the rooms are cleaned daily.. and the commodities ( for example, water bottels, tissue, comb, etc) are renewed every day. Although i did not use some, every time the room is cleaned, the attended puts new ones... this really reflected the staff commitment to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel has an eating area, where breakfast is provided to the guests.. the food is tasty, and both Western and chinese dishes are available. In the hotel lobby, there is a tour guide who can arrange for you to visit attractions in this beautiful city. The tour prices are cheap and the tours are really convenient. And they arranged for me an english speaking tour guide. Overall, the hotel location, hotel staff, rooms, and services are excellent.. will recommend this place for anyone who wants to come to xi'an.

Excellently located, the hotel is walking distance to both the drum and bell tower as well as the Muslim Quarter. The rooms were very clean and staff was accommodating. The only issue was they did not have our reservation (somehow it didn’t come through the trip.com) booking confirmation so they put us in the side building not the main building, albeit they upgraded us to a suit instead of our original king size bedroom in the main building. All and all great location and excellent rooftop!

Location was very convenient, right in the city center with shops and restaurants. However, was a bit disappointed by the fake window.

All nice and good but it's pretty hard when bringing luggage here, the street isn't directly accessable to the public road

The hotel is located between the Drum and Bell tower, perfect location to all the attractions. The room is reasonably priced. Quiet for its location. Very easy access via public transport. We have enjoyed our stay. And really enjoyed the fresh drink at the lobby when we came back from a hot day. So refreshing. The little thing can make such difference.

The hotel was in the perfect location, around 40 minutes from the airport and Xi'an North railway station. Literally next to the Muslim quarter and Bell and Drum towers. The staff were very helpful, although they spoke little English, they used translator apps and it was fine. The rooms were very clean and came with the basic amenities. The only issue was they were going through renovations so we couldn't have a normal breakfast and the recreation spaces were off limits. However it was a great stay. I would recommend the tour guide Robin who went above and beyond to take us to all the important sights. Wechat ID is RobinZhang00A . A great trip.

Hotel is very well located, right behind the drum tower and it’s also within the walking distance to bell tower, Muslim quarter and a shopping mall. Lots of local eateries and 7-11 around the hotel, including Starbucks and MacDonalds. Room is very spacious and there is a small gym with the washing and drying machine self-help services. Our bathroom pipes had problems so the shower are was flooded at first, but the issue was resolved quite quickly by the hotel. One of the hotel staff ( I think her name is A 夢）and she was very helpful even over the phone call.

This hotel is a gem. Pulling in from the back alley is a bit worrying late at night until you realise that you are around the corner from all the action and it is safe as can be. The Drum Tower is beautiful at night from the rooftop on floor 5 and very close by is the Bell Tower too. The delights of Muslim Street are just around the corner (exiting the hotel towards the drum tower continue to the right of it and that will take you to the walking street which starts behind the tower). Really a perfect location. Xiao Cheng at the front desk was very helpful and made sure to look after us even though our Chinese is almost non-existent. Recommend.

Perfect location, at the heart of Xi'an, the view of the roof top is beautiful, the staff and Chen at the reception is very friendly and professional and the room was big and very clean!

Great location, helpful staff but their English is very limited. Need to use google translator or their phone translator to communicate with them. Location near Bell Tower, the Great Mosque of Xi'an and only 2 km away from the City Wall of Xian

Excellent location near the drum and bell towers and close to metro. Lots of great street food nearby! Stunning terrace with view of drum tower, beautiful during the day and at night! Arrived at 1am and the helpful staff at reception offered us a free breakfast. Food wasn’t that great for western options and probably would have been disappointed if I had paid for it but a lovely gesture from the staff. Coffee was good!! Room was clean and spacious with good AC. Would stay here again!!
